There's something that fires me up about taking care of my wife.
Last night proved it.
I walked in from work to absolute chaos:
One kid just threw up. Another was whining and crying. Two more were fighting over a toy.
And my wife was standing in the middle of it all, completely fried.
She looked at me with exhausted eyes that said: "I can't do this anymore."
You know what happened to my energy?
It didn't drop. It multiplied.
"Go upstairs. Take a break. I've got this."
She didn't argue. She just left.
I cleaned up the puke. Broke up the fight. Calmed the crying one. Got everyone settled.
And I felt ALIVE doing it.
Here's what most guys don't understand about marriage:
Your wife doesn't need you only when things are smooth.
She needs you MOST when she's at her breaking point.
When the kids are losing it.
When dinner burned.
When she's had zero breaks all day.
When she's one more tantrum away from losing it herself.
THAT'S when you step up.
Not with resentment. Not keeping score.
But with energy. Purpose. Leadership.
"I've got you. Go rest."
That's what it means to be a husband.
Not 50/50. Not splitting duties down the middle.
It's 100/100. Both of you giving everything, especially when the other has nothing left.
When she's running on empty, I fill the tank.
When I'm running on empty, she fills mine.
That's the partnership.
Most guys see chaos at home and think: "Great, more problems after a long day."
I see my wife exhausted and think: "Time to lead."
That shift in perspective changes everything.
Your wife married a man who would protect her, provide for her, and PARTNER with her.
Don't just be a roommate managing a household.
Be the man who shows up when it's hard.
That's what she needs. That's what your kids need to see.
Show up.
For those who do not understand the image. The cartoon image is a meme that depicts a man in traditional Arab attire (thobe and ghutra) holding a stack of five large books labeled Qalun, Hafs, Warsh, Al-Duri, and Khalaf.
What the meme is referring to
These labels are not different "books" or separate versions of the Quran. They are names of authentic canonical recitations (Qirā'at) of the same Quran:
1. Hafs (full: Hafs 'an 'Asim): The most widespread recitation today, used in about 95% of printed Qur'ān worldwide (including most Muslim countries outside North Africa).
2. Warsh (Warsh 'an Nafi'): Commonly used in parts of North Africa (e.g., Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia).
3. Qalun: (Qalun 'an Nafi'): Another transmission from the same reader as Warsh, popular in Libya and parts of Tunisia.
4. Al-Duri; (Al-Duri 'an Abu 'Amr): Used in some regions of Sudan and West Africa.
5. Khalaf (Khalaf 'an Hamzah): One of the less common ones today but still authentic.
There are traditionally 7 or 10 canonical Qirā'at (depending on scholarly classification), all tracing back through unbroken chains of transmission to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). These are different styles of recitation, primarily in pronunciation, intonation, vowel lengthening, and minor word forms similar to regional accents or dialects in a language.
Why the differences exist (Islamic perspective)
The Qur'ān was revealed in classical Arabic, which had various tribal dialects. Authentic hadiths state it was revealed in seven ahruf (modes/dialects) to make recitation easier for different Arab tribes. Over time, these developed into the standardized Qirā'at, all considered fully authentic and divinely permitted. The skeletal text (rasm) of the Qur'ān remains identical across all; differences are mostly in how words are vocalized or minor synonyms that complement rather than contradict the meaning.
The meme plays on a common criticism (often from non-Muslim polemicists) suggesting these Qirā'at prove "multiple Qur'ān" or textual corruption. In reality:
a. All Qirā'at convey the same core message and doctrines.
b. Differences are subtle (e.g., pronunciation of a word like "maliki" vs. "maaliki" in Al-Fatihah, or minor grammatical forms).
c. They enrich understanding by providing layered meanings, not conflicts.
d. The vast majority of Muslims recite in Hafs today, but switching to another authentic Qira'ah is perfectly valid.
The "confusion" portrayed is satirical exaggeration, there's no genuine doubt among scholars that all these are the one Qur'ān, perfectly preserved in its authentic forms.
Take every attack they throw against Islam as an opportunity to teach Muslims about Islam. In a way, they are helping to spread Islam but they do not know it because they are not different from the beasts, unable to think, research or see things properly. In fact, they are even more astray than the breasts.
Before I shared, I asked my client,
“Are you okay if I write a little bit about your story, we can learn together?”
“Yes, you can.”

IF A HEAVILY PREGNANT WOMAN COLLAPSES IN FRONT OF YOU.
DON'T BE SCARED, BE BRAVE.
SHARE TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW
There is a particular hush that enters a room when a pregnant woman collapses, a hush that feels like fear holding its breath, and like hope waiting to be summoned. And as a gynae doctor, I have learned that in those quiet, trembling seconds, what you do and what you refuse to fear can save not one life, but two.
And so, let us speak plainly, and yet tenderly, about what must happen.
1. First, do not panic.
Because panic is a thief. it steals clarity, and it steals time. Breathe. Steady yourself. You cannot rescue another while drowning in your own fright.
2. Check if she is present.
Tap her shoulders. Call her name the way you would call someone back from a drifting edge. Is she breathing? Is her pulse humming softly under the skin of her neck?
These answers guide your next breath, and your next move.
3. Tilt her belly, slightly, purposefully to the left. Because the womb, in all its beauty and weight, can press against the great vessels at her back, and because shifting it gently to the left frees her heart to receive blood again.
It is a small movement, yet it is also a quiet miracle.
4. And if she is not breathing, start CPR. Immediately.
Place your hands in the centre of her chest, just below and between her breasts, and push. Push as though life itself is calling through your palms. Push hard. Push fast.
Give breaths if you can.
Call 911, or your emergency number, because skilled hands are on their way but your hands are the first responders her body is waiting for.
5. Remember the unforgiving truth of time. In pregnancy, you have 4 to 5 minutes, not stories, not speculation, not hesitation, just minutes.
Minutes that can make the difference between a life restored and a life remembered.
And let me say this with the gentle firmness of a doctor who has seen too many preventable tragedies: For all the campaigns, and the jingles, and the well-funded PR… it will be a quiet tragedy if you still do not learn CPR.
Learn it. Practice it. Carry it like a form of love. Because one day, and may that day never come, and yet may you be ready, it might be your hands that hold the thin thread between life and loss.
And perhaps… save someone.
Alahai. Lelaki-lelaki yang terlibat ini ada yang dah beristeri.
Kata "justice for sisters"
Tak kesian ke kat sisters kita yang suaminya berzina dgn lelaki lain, balik rumah bersenggama dengan isteri pula. Bawa balik virus macam-macam. Jangkit kat isteri dan anak
Where's the justice for the sisters then?
"My name's Raymond. I'm 73. I work the parking lot at St. Joseph's Hospital. Minimum wage, orange vest, a whistle I barely use. Most people don't even look at me. I'm just the old man waving cars into spaces.
But I see everything.
Like the black sedan that circled the lot every morning at 6 a.m. for three weeks. Young man driving, grandmother in the passenger seat. Chemotherapy, I figured. He'd drop her at the entrance, then spend 20 minutes hunting for parking, missing her appointments.
One morning, I stopped him. "What time tomorrow?"
"6:15," he said, confused.
"Space A-7 will be empty. I'll save it."
He blinked. "You... you can do that?"
"I can now," I said.
Next morning, I stood in A-7, holding my ground as cars circled angrily. When his sedan pulled up, I moved. He rolled down his window, speechless. "Why?"
"Because she needs you in there with her," I said. "Not out here stressing."
He cried. Right there in the parking lot.
Word spread quietly. A father with a sick baby asked if I could help. A woman visiting her dying husband. I started arriving at 5 a.m., notebook in hand, tracking who needed what. Saved spots became sacred. People stopped honking. They waited. Because they knew someone else was fighting something bigger than traffic.
But here's what changed everything, A businessman in a Mercedes screamed at me one morning. "I'm not sick! I need that spot for a meeting!"
"Then walk," I said calmly. "That space is for someone whose hands are shaking too hard to grip a steering wheel."
He sped off, furious. But a woman behind him got out of her car and hugged me. "My son has leukemia," she sobbed. "Thank you for seeing us."
The hospital tried to stop me. "Liability issues," they said. But then families started writing letters. Dozens. "Raymond made the worst days bearable." "He gave us one less thing to break over."
Last month, they made it official. "Reserved Parking for Families in Crisis." Ten spots, marked with blue signs. And they asked me to manage it.
But the best part? A man I'd helped two years ago, his mother survived, came back. He's a carpenter. Built a small wooden box, mounted it by the reserved spaces. Inside? Prayer cards, tissues, breath mints, and a note,
"Take what you need. You're not alone. -Raymond & Friends"
People leave things now. Granola bars. Phone chargers. Yesterday, someone left a hand-knitted blanket.
I'm 73. I direct traffic in a hospital parking lot. But I've learned this: Healing doesn't just happen in operating rooms. Sometimes it starts in a parking space. When someone says, "I see your crisis. Let me carry this one small piece."
So pay attention. At the grocery checkout, the coffee line, wherever you are. Someone's drowning in the little things while fighting the big ones.
Hold a door. Save a spot. Carry the weight no one else sees.
It's not glamorous. But it's everything."
Let this story reach more hearts....

Satu nasihat yang saya ingat dan cuba untuk lakukan sehingga sekarang:
Marah atau merajuk macam mana pun dengan suami, jangan lepaskan perasaan tu ketika dia baru balik kerja.
Tahan. Pendam. Sabar.
Tangguh sekejap segala ketidak puasan hati tu.
Sambut kepulangan suami. Bagi dia duduk berehat. Hidanglah air/makanan. Bagi dia mandi bersihkan diri.
Bila dia dah tenang, barulah luahkan semua yang dipendam tu.
Ya tak mudah. Kadang tu terikut juga perasaan. Tapi usaha lagi. Usaha sampai jadi satu habit.
I can’t believe as gay man I have to spell it out. On a plane it’s a single toilet and everyone can see the door naturally giving protection to women entering the space.
Women’s public bathrooms for multiple people are closed off spaces and not always populated with women making it dangerous if a woman is ever alone inside them with a predatory man if legalisation permits the opposite sex to enter.
To add, it serves as a place for women that can find refuge among other women for safety and/or attend to anything that sex needs on a personal level without the increased chance of men prying on them.
When society first established public bathrooms they separated the sex’s for very good reasons, use your imagination.
The more you support this ridiculous ideology then the more you will see that gender neutral bathrooms will only be dominated by men and a serious absences of women using bathrooms in public spaces.
Not to mention women’s bathrooms are much cleaner
It isn’t fair on women.

I write as former Head of Maritime Section of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office
and Alternate Head of UK Delegation to the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea Prepcom.
1) The flotilla is on the High Seas and not in Israel's 12 mile territorial sea. Israel has no jurisdiction.
2) The Israeli maritime blockade has been in place for 17 years and is an intrinsic part of the long term occupation found illegal in the ICJ advisory opinion
3) It is therefore not a short term measure in time of armed conflict as specified in the San Remo manual
4) In any event the San Remo rules explicitly state that humanitarian supplies may not be blockaded
5) The UN Commission of Inquiry has already determined that Israel is committing genocide. The blockade is plainly a part of the machinery of such genocide.
For reasons 1 to 5 the Israeli attack on the flotilla is plainly illegal.
6) On the High Seas, the law applying on each ship is the law of its flag state. An attack by a state military warship on a vessel on the High Seas is an attack on the flag state of the vessel attacked.
7) Acts of illegal possession of vessels or abduction of crew on the High Seas should be pursued by each flag state as crimes within their domestic jurisdiction, not only in international law.
8) So the Metropolitan Police and DPP have an obligation to investigate and act over the abduction of persons from UK flagged vessels on the High Seas.
This applies to each flag state mutatis mutandi.
I hope you find this helpful.

You made the right fucking choice and every woman reading this needs to understand what you saw in that moment.
This wasn't about painkillers or driving.
This was about recognizing a man's character when you needed him most and he failed the most basic test of partnership.
A real man doesn't let his woman suffer while making excuses about inconvenience.
You saw exactly how he would handle pregnancy complications, sick children, family emergencies, or any real crisis.
His comfort mattered more to him than your pain.
That tells you everything about how the rest of your life would have looked with him.
Research proves that support during difficult times is one of the most reasonable expectations in healthy relationships.
You weren't asking him to move mountains.
You needed basic human decency and he couldn't even deliver that when it mattered.
Smart women pay attention to these moments because they predict decades of being emotionally abandoned by someone who claims to love you.
You dodged a lifetime of begging for basic compassion from someone incapable of giving it.
The right person will drop everything to ease your suffering, not rationalize why they can't help.
Trust your instincts when someone shows you their character through their actions.
You saved yourself and any future children from a man who would abandon you when life gets difficult.
Overheard my 4yr old talking to my husband last night. 4yr old asked why he had to go to work tomorrow and he explained. He asked why mommy doesn’t go to work. Husband said “mommy doesn’t go to work for money, but mommy does work very hard. She works to make sure you and your sisters have breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. She makes sure you have clean clothes and pajamas to wear. She makes sure we have a clean house to live in. Mommy doesn’t leave the house like I do to work, but she works hard at home.”
He didn’t know I could hear him which made it even better.
My cousin posted on FB asking for advice to stop her toddler from biting. There are 5 comments— 4 mothers said they bite their kids back and 1 mother said she puts hot sauce on her toddler’s tongue if he bites omg
