For all the confusion around the naming of the Palo #ColoradoFire in #BigSur, remember that first responders name the fire. 💯

Back in 2016, someone mis-heard “Prince’s Camp” in East Carmel Valley, where a tavern was once located. It became “Princess Camp” on the fire maps. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I was briefed this morning by @CAL_FIRE on the status of the #ColoradoFire burning in the Palo Colorado Canyon area of Big Sur. As of 7:00 am, we are at 25% containment and 1,050 acres.
