"To keep myself occupied I've been diving into stringed instrument repair and basic lutherie. I've been setting up, repairing and restoring guitars and basses. Right now I'm restoring a beat up Korg synthesizer."

I had never seen mammatus clouds before this moment on my 1st trip - and considering this day was also full of near missed with tornadoes I *might* have been a bit worried I wasn't going to make it through this storm :P

It may mean fighting against the wind - but when these rolling high grass fields take on a wave-like pattern... it's quite special. You can find yourself feeling very lucky to be out there, in the middle of nothing, to see it.
