Creating Consistent AI Characters is the First step to Great Story Telling w/ AI.
On Thursday I will be doing the first of MANY live Demo Podcasts with the team at @Scenario_gg on how to create consistent characters in the @ftrcontent Community.
(Details on next)
This is how I am going to takeover short form platforms (again) in 2024 with savy AI video editing (not AT ALL in the way you expect).
This video editing strategy that is so absurdly simple, editors are going to get mad when they see the results.
This requires literally no editing experience whatsoever.
This video, paired with the writing basics video, Descript Basics video (Coming Soon to FOC), you will have the opportunity to turn your knowledge into short form videos that get millions of views.
When the world zigs, zag.
I will literally post everything I learn into the community I just launched. You are welcome to join me.
:)
I will select one person who likes and RT this video to help create a video in this format, just to show you that it works. Not kidding.
midjourney v6 is getting... like really good. inspired by
@chaseleantj and @nickfloats.
Please like, RT, and comment whether you like skittles or starburst more
AI Generated Image Prompt prompt hack (Midjourney in this case)
Using reddit, or Facebook, Snapchat in the prompt with a year, gives it a forum post vibe... Try it out.
oh and i do a little face fusion action at the end for good measure...
(btw I'm building a library of knowledge of the best AI content creation resources w/ community of people who like to create dope shit... so see you there)
The Ultimate Scripting Guide for TikTok and IG
Short Form Content
I went from:
- 0-520k followers on TikTok (12 months)
- 0-170k on IG (8 months)
And this is my 3 step mental model that I use to outline / script basically all 200+ videos that I made
(220M views in 2023)
⭐️Intro: Before the 3 Steps. A Reminder
The cost to switch to a new video on TikTok and IG is nothing (Literally scrolling up with the thumb)
So... in every video I always try to
- Immediately: forshadow & highlight the value
- then: get straight to value
- and then: keep applying value like a chess player applies pressure on their opponent.
Even when the the person watching my video (HERO) wants a break from value, I keep applying it.
I make it rain value like Floyd Mayw... you get the point
.....
For the rest of these lessons (on Future of Content -> where I post basically everything I learn about the intersection of content strategy and AI tools, free) I’m going to use “HERO” as the avatar name of the viewer of your/my video.
📓We will be discussing The 3 Main Steps
1: Hook (B.R.E.N.S.)
2: Visual Hook: Assist with BRENS
3: What Questions is HERO asking him/herself during Hook?
1️⃣Hook: (B.R.E.N.S.)
When creating short form content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) Your first 2-3 sentences should convey as many of these as possible without overrambling.
B] Big (Is it Big, Significant, Important, To HERO?)
- This is wild!
- You won’t believe this!
R] Relatable (Does it resonate with HERO?)
“I thought this was confusing at first, but”
“You may think X, but”
“I feel your pain, but”
Mention Taylor Swift
E] Easy (Does HERO think what’s to follow will be easy to follow)
You can do _____ in 4 simple steps
I will show you the X System I created to ____
N] New (Does HERO immediately think his worldview could be shattered?)
“This changes everything!”
"This new piece of tech changes everything"
"Irrelevant AI Tool will Replace entire industries by next week" - Ask the Twitter Threaders... this works, but destroys credibility.
S] Safe (Worth Watching to HERO? - Matters more in longer videos 3M and up)
- You need to see this
- By the end you will
- This will be worth it
This one is the least important if you give off a good vibe or have a strong reputation.
2️⃣ Visual Hook (During the first 2 sentences above)
Instagram (especially) and TikTok are very visual platforms
Pairing a Visual Hook at the beginning durning the first few sentences is so powerful.
The visual hook could be an image or video, that conveys the central meaning of the video. If you’re making a reaction video, the first frame should be the most interesting part of the video.
People like
- specific things
- specific processes,
- specific demonstrations
- specific examples.
So show them the coolest part of that thing... On the screen... in the first 2 seconds... and say this hook:
This is insane ((B))! This new ((N)) thing will allow you to do something alot of people want to do ((R)), and you can do it in just three steps ((E))"
If its a video show them the most important part of the video in the first 1-2 seconds, and if the video is busy literally edit a red circle around the part the viewer should be looking.
Visual Hooks should be intruiging yet self explanitory. Sometimes it overcomplicates things.
If you want an absolute master class at visual hooks... Look up a TikToker by the name of Dylan Page. He is the best in the world at this.
3️⃣Response to Questions
During your Hook, HERO, will ask questions to himself about this really engaging BRENS fueled Hook.
The rest of your video should as quickly as possible, answer those questions in an efficient manner.
It might only be 2 questions, it could be 4.
This part is where MOST of the intuition and skill is
Founders of AI tools suck at this: The questions that they think their audience is asking, ARE NOT the questions they’re asking and their videos are aimless displays of irrelevant software to a confused audience.
You need to answer them in a predictable fashion with a coherent, cadence, don’t waste a second.
Answering those questions, that you in someway, shape with your framing of the BRENS, but your audience's imagination will bring up Questions.
That's called Empathy, being able to understand what questions they're asking themselves.
This is the hardest part, and requires deep thinking.

How are people creating AI Videos at the highest Level?
In this video I explain the web of tools commonly used to create really cool videos.
And I announced it on IG and Tiktok a few days ago, I am launching a community called:
FUTURE OF CONTENT
It will explore SOME of the following ideas:
- being competitive in the AI dominated content era
- short form video creation and brand building
- ai video tools
- ai image tools
- ai audio tools
- knowledge bases and capture systems
- Creating content outlines automatically from the things you capture day to day
- Technology trends in the future
- Smart Content Consumption (Honestly my biggest passion right now... the best creators don't consume a lot)
- Platforms of the future

Wait till I show you next week's video using these tools. Got this
Create a "GPT" Chatbot right now on playground.
I converted a lecture series into a chatbot in about 5 minutes.
You can take any large body of knowledge, and make it into something you can interact with in meaningful ways.
Steps are as follows:
Identify the large body of information: Choose a series of lectures on YouTube or anywhere else that you want to turn into a chatbot.
Transcribe the Lectures: Use a transcription tool, such as the 'get YouTube transcript by cake AI' Chrome extension, to obtain the transcripts of the lectures.
Download Transcripts: Click on the transcript button provided by the extension to download the transcripts for each lecture.
Compile Transcripts: Gather the first 20 transcripts, as the current upload limit is set to 20 files.
Upload to Playground: Go to the Assistance tab in the Playground feature and upload the 20 transcripts.
Create Instructions for the Chatbot: Ask the GPT-4 model to write instructions for the chatbot that will be based on the content from the 50 lectures.
Input Instructions into Playground: Enter the generated instructions into the instructions tab in Playground to guide the chatbot's responses.
Interact with the Chatbot: Ask the chatbot questions related to the lectures and refine the instructions as needed to improve the chatbot's performance.
Test and Improve: Test the chatbot by asking various questions related to the lectures and assess its retrieval accuracy. Adjust the instructions accordingly for better performance.
