Nanis gang leader not making a decent chunk of money leading to Vikram Kumar working with Prime majorly is a huge turning point in the history, for worse

all filmmakers do is watch movies. They'll name every classic ever made. Never read a single novel or watch a play. That's why every movie looks incredible but the stories are dog shit

Has to be so tiresome when your entire personality is downstream of what SF was into 2 years ago (and therefore, NYC was into 5 years ago)

@TheInSneider you're 7 hours too late

I used to call him the "best ed harris out there"

[lamin-ada'd denim @dudestopplease]

jared harris is one of the finest actors working today and he deserves so much more recognition (and better projects) than he's been getting

I love succession. It is not the show y'all are making it out to be, certainly not top 5 of the century.

[g 𐙚 @birdiedrapers]

as someone who really loves both, i can say that succession has incredible acting and writing, but mad men has all that too, plus an impeccable aesthetic, better cinematography, lighting and blocking, surrealism (!!!), and a plethora of fully realized female characters

[xenon boytoy @ftshrieker]

@usedipodshuffle Gillian Jacobs is the most beautiful woman in the world fr

[xenon boytoy @ftshrieker]

@rekkalagurram07 They killed the execution but not the idea

[xenon boytoy @ftshrieker]

@firenationloser people didn't want him in the city

[julieta @cameronhcwes]

succession is way too high in that list recency bias doing its work

[xenon boytoy @ftshrieker]

@HAZ_VAL_ I apologize to everyone I recommended this show to back in s2

[Jeremy Gordon @jeremypgordon]

MAD MEN is the #1 show of the century, probably all-time. Unparalleled depth, performances, themes, emotions; the best drama that is also somehow the best comedy. I know this; you know this; your mom knows this. We don't have to be babies who pretend otherwise.
