De maskers vallen af! De regering wil de Pensioenwet via een spoedprocedure door het parlement jagen en dat lukt haar nu ook, dankzij de steun van het Vlaams Belang 😣

Het Vlaams Belang beweert TEGEN de pensioenafbraak te zijn, maar zij helpt de regeringspartijen nu WEL om haar hervorming sneller door het parlement te jagen, zonder een grondig advies van de Raad van State.

De Raad kreeg amper VIJF DAGEN tijd om méér dan 50 amendementen op een wetsontwerp van 1.323 pagina’s te beoordelen. Dat is totaal onmogelijk. Het Mensenrechteninstituut noemt de spoedprocedure voor zo’n wet dan ook onaanvaardbaar: misbruik van recht en minachting van de democratie. Het feit dat regeringspartijen Vooruit en CD&V - die zogezegd in de regering zouden zitten om onze sociale rechten te verdedigen - geen kik geven, tart ook alle verbeelding.

✊ Omdat wij het recht op pensioen wél belangrijk vinden, zullen wij blijven vechten voor een grondig en democratisch debat, want er worden tal van leugens verteld over onze pensioenen. Die zijn immers WEL betaalbaar als we de welvaart een beetje eerlijker verdelen. #StopdePensioendiefstal

This is a Palestinian man released after 26 months of Israeli "administrative detention." No charge. No trial. No legal rights.

"Never again" sounds noble. It just turns out it was never meant to apply to everyone.

The Israeli government currently holds roughly 3,500 Palestinians under this system, and has issued more than 100,000 such detention orders since 1967.

October 7th wasn't the start of this. It was a reaction to it.
