I've spent 20 plus years studying Evolution and reading peer reviewed papers. It's because I understand Evolution that I don't believe in it, not because of a lack of understanding. We know, scientifically, that evolution can't do what high school textbooks and college professors say it can.

Megan - I wasn't going to go see it either but I had dinner with my son tonight who did go see it. He said Elliot Page has MAYBE 5 minutes of screen time before she's impaled by a spear and dies. Helen of Troy like a minute or two. Nothing serious. He loved the movie and ignored the minor woke items.

He also said that he agreed more with Shapiro's take than he did Walsh's. He didn't think Matt Walsh's review was a fair depiction. He thought Shapiro's was damn near spot on. Just FYI.

A Multiverse would still require a naturalistic beginning so you're just kicking the can down the road with that one.

The concept that the universe is necessary would still require a naturalistic beginning. Doesn't better your position.

The idea that the universe could be eternal in the past is impossible. All of the usable energy would have been used up by now and our universe would be nothing but dead rocks floating through space. Your conundrum still exists.
