I wanted to point out to all my cetacean followers that while there will be regular cetacean content here, this is primarily a personal account and I do post about my life a lot, haha.

It's especially egregious because the southern right whale is an entirely separate species that doesn't even share the same order. The southern right whale dolphin, which has no affiliation whatsoever to the southern right whale,

thinking about the cetacean with the most unnecessary common name in existence: the southern right whale dolphin.

I understand it was named for lacking a dorsal fin (like the right whale, its namesake) but imo any animal with "whale dolphin" in its name deserves compensation

My gut feeling is that I'm puzzlingly popular versus the amount of energy I put into socialising. I'm not saying I'm cool and good or anything, it's just an empirical observation
