@CalMac_Updates What's the height restrictions on Ardrossan to Brodick? I've an Audi Q5 with roof box = 2.15m high. Is this okay to book as a car with no other add-ons?
@ScotsPolFed Can't resource operations - cancel officers RDs.
Can't resource response Policing - let them run dangerously low anyway.
Can't resource specialist depts - get response to pick up the extra work.
Won't release cops to be deployed to use their specialist training = out of ticket.
@ScotsPolFed As much as I'd rather carry my Taser than not, the force STILL needs to get away from deploying STO's to legitimate firearm incidents.
Still far too many overview supervisors scared to deploy ARV's to knife/weapon incidents.
Iโm sure we have all now seen the footage of Metropolitan rozzers kicking a suspected terrorist in the head, repeatedly, when he was down.
We can all play a part in putting an end to this sort of police brutality. Mainly by not going around stabbing people.

You won't see fuel costs at the forecourts drop as quickly as they rose though, I'll guarantee that!!

So let me get this right. Iโll get a 3.5% payrise this year, after a decade of below inflation payrises, whilst those who donโt work on benefits get a 6.2% increase?
@west_response Another fine example then of how far removed exec. are from frontline Policing when the overwhelming majority would endorse the want and need for Molle. ๐คฆ๐ผโโ๏ธ
@ScotsPolFed current situation is "ach, just send a crew anyway", because front line supervision are shit feirt to make a decision not to resource, due the usual "what if" mindset, in fear of the hindsight brigade questioning and not supporting their actions after something happens.
@ScotsPolFed Old news. CC needs to put a directive out directing we don't attend such calls and front line supervisors need to have a backbone and say "we're not going to that"...
@hudson77449685@ScotsPolFed This!! With the exception of the few, most AFO's want to go to these calls! Yet an ITFC who can, at times, be 100+ miles away in a cosy office / control room, is dictating an ARV deployment or not.
@ScotsPolFed Yet Policing in Scotland is broken, well and truly broken due to this continuous desire to save money since the creation of the Police Scotland monster. It needs an massive funding exercise to even try and fix it. Until then, the story continues of "do more with less"!! ๐คฆ๐ผโโ๏ธ
@ScotsPolFed We await the usual party lines from SNP of "Scotland has more Police officers per head, compared to the rest of the UK", "we've increased funding year on year", bla bla bla...
