@blknoiz06 the problem with memecoins is the memecoin bid gets spread thinner and thinner. The new people who enter crypto just make their own memecoins.
@DAdvisoor unironically what probably happens is that traders start winning. Trader PnL was positive until downward price action happened. Can't imagine people will want to be in GLP under those conditions. Less GLP = less traders = less volume.
@knowerofmarkets ETH and $GMX are the only ones out of all of these that I'd view as bear market proof. Everything else relies on ponzi too much to survive, cept for IMX which I think is bad bear or bull.
@cryptunez >thinking other bridges won't do the same
>Not realizing there are already plenty of L1's that have bridges built in on cosmos
Brainlets haven't realized yet that bridging will be the ultimate race to the bottom in fees. There is already a lot of competition in bridges too
@DegenSpartan@za_llmaknun wasn't grayscale trading at a large premium vs holdings a while back? I thought CT laughed at the buyers back then...
Then CT goes and buys shit like OHM lol.
@anon75374998 @ct_zpy I think we are actually less far along than the 2001 tech bubble. The 2001 tech bubble had more real adoption. But I think price action will be similar where most stuff gets nuked and a handful of useful dapps/chains survive.
@kain People will keep making their own chains until people stop throwing money at them. What people need to learn is that the entire value of a chain comes from the level of decentralization.
@CryptoFox69@veH0rny @SuperKiwiana @PremiaFinance Yeah, zero is an over exaggeration.
Wide adoption for roll ups would be nice. The whole reason blockchain tech has any value is the decentralization, so to me it makes no sense to not plug into the most decentralized chain in some way.
@CryptoFox69@veH0rny @SuperKiwiana @PremiaFinance Yeah, I've said elsewhere, but I feel like ALT L1's are gonna be jealous of DeFi top buyers soon. Alt L1s are basically ponzi's. You bought the token in order to be able to farm the token on that chain through incentivized activity. They going to zero
@intocryptoast I THINK BTC is different, yes. Settling transactions/smart contracts is what gives ETH value. Number of TX on ETH will always stay pretty similar IMO. Just people will value being on ETH more, so the demand for block space increases, increasing price of ETH.
@tbr90@SiloFinance Fuse pools are definitely a problem. EUL or SILO seem like better candidates at this point. Why do you think AAVE is questionable though?
