@PokeTeeJay 100% I dont understand how there are some people that say Prismatic is better than AH. AH is what Prismatic should of been. Having no IRs makes the already bad SIR hit rates feel worse because it makes you feel like your getting nothing, whereas AH has the IRs and MAR to make up.

- he had a booth / space for autographs and fan interactions
- some children approached him
- a card trade took place

what allegedly happened

- the children had an authentic Gengar card
- the card was described by third parties as valued at ~$150+
- Paige allegedly received that Gengar
- the children allegedly received a card signed by him
- that card was fake / not official as an authentic Pokémon card
- it was allegedly presented as something special
- supposedly as “one of one”
- the community interpreted that the real value was not equivalent

- the children apparently knew the card they received was fake
- but the criticism is that they did not understand the real value of the trade
- the father also seemed not to understand the TCG market well
- they trusted Paige because he was “the Pokémon singer”

So there is a public controversy

And an accusation that he is being pointed at for an abusive trade with children

OK y'all. This one hurts my heart.

One of the best guys in the hobby, my LCS owner Mike, had his shop broken into a few nights ago. The thieves made off with some serious stuff, and he still doesn't even know the full extent of it because he's still picking up the pieces.

If you see someone selling, flashing, or bragging about weirdly high-end stuff that feels out of character, please pay attention. Not just anyone can show up with things like a $24k box of Transcendent, rare $7500 Mahomes autos, etc, without raising some eyebrows.

This stuff represents decades of blood, sweat, and tears from one of the most upstanding families you could ever hope to meet, along with some pretty incredible team members who pour themselves into that shop every day. It makes me sick to see something like this happen to anyone, especially people like them.

I have full faith that the hobby watchdogs, dealers, collectors, and card show crews won't let this stuff quietly disappear. I don't think these criminals understand what kind of reach we have. As a collective, I assure you, we can figure this out. They don't get to just ride off into the sunset. They did this to one of us...so they did this to all of us.

@PokeTeeJay The sets that everyone are holding on to: 151, Prismatic, and AH. What happens when people holding onto all of this product, some people with hundreds of etbs, get unloaded into the market? Price will crash. But the sets that are big but not as big (DR, BBWF, JT), those will hold
