Over 500,000 people have taken to the streets across France. Protesters and rioters have set fire to historic buildings, destroyed famous statues, and looted thousands of stores.

Police have been seen driving away after being attacked and overwhelmed by the number of rioters as clashes broke out across every major city in France.

Let this be a warning sign for the rest of the West: Hundreds of years of work and preservation gone in one day.

Classification flows from the power of the Executive branch, which is fully vested in the President per the constitution. Anyone under the Executive branch must go through the background check.

The House was always supposed to be the people's way of oversight. So forcing a background check on elected officials would violate the constitution. As the legislative should not be subjected to the rules of the Executive and be a separate branch.

Is this a problem? yes. Is getting clearance the proper remedy? No.

What is happening with Omar is the proper course. The Executive failed to do its job in keeping the Legislature honest for far too long.
