In 120 years we went from hanging horse thieves to "sorry this illegal alien r4ped and killed your daughter, but his IQ is too low to stand trial or know right from wrong."
My Ex's grandmother (a fine Southern lady despite her granddaughter) was spotted in town with a black eye. That evening, some men from the town dragged her husband from the dinner table, and damn near beat him to death. They left with a warning. If they saw her with another mark, they would return and kill him.
She said her abusive husband never touched her again.
Justice is not for the squimish.
I’ve seen what makes you cheer.
You cheered when Charlie Kirk was publicly assassinated.
You cheered when a healthcare CEO was assassinated.
You cheer every time a baby is ripped apart limb by limb in the womb and babies were choked to death by an exercise band.
You cheer every time there’s an assassination attempt on President Trump.
Your cries about a mass shooter being publicly executed mean nothing to me.
Evangelicals, please understand.
You've been duped. I know it's hard to face this fact. But in reality, it takes a huge amount of integrity to realize you've been wrong, and to correct the mistake. 💯
This public execution debate is a test.
✅ in favor = your opinion is valid
❌against = you don’t have what it takes to build a civilization and you should be quiet and let other people handle it
PSA to the “women have always worked” crowd:
US Census records, which are available online, show that even in 1920, only around 1 in 4 women were employed.
The rate drops to less than 1 in 10 for married women.
So, over 90% of married women were homemakers not otherwise gainfully employed.
Stop spreading baseless feminist propaganda myths please.
Thank you for coming to my trad talk.
Maybe your problem is guilt, not trauma.
Maybe your problem is sin, not just anxiety.
Maybe instead of pathologizing what is ailing you, you should also spiritualize what is ailing you.
Maybe your deepest problem is not psychological, but spiritual.
Maybe instead of endlessly unearthing repressed memories of trauma in pursuit of self-actualization, you need to sit under the care of a faithful pastor, hear the gospel, repent of your sin, and find strength and hope not in yourself, but in someone outside yourself: Christ.
For some, this will fall on deaf ears because they will read it as a dismissal of every valid mental health category. That is not what I am saying, and those determined to read it that way will misunderstand.
I am writing for the believer who knows these truths deep down but has gradually begun to adopt the world’s categories more readily than Scripture’s.
Stand firm. Be watchful. Never stop doing the hard work of unearthing sin in your own life, repenting of it, and coming to Christ again and again for grace, strength, and hope.
Matthew Henry on the duty of women to be silent in the church, and the man’s duty to keep up his superiority:
“As it is the woman’s duty to learn in subjection, it is the man’s duty to keep up his superiority, by being able to instruct her; if it be her duty to ask her husband at home, it is his concern and duty to endeavor at least to be able to answer her inquiries; if it be a shame for her to speak in the church, where she should be silent, it is a shame for him to be silent when he should speak, and not be able to give an answer, when she asks him at home.”
Since a tremendous number of—let’s call them “visitors”—have decided to join me here on my X profile, let me take this opportunity to share with you the most important thing you could possibly know.
(No, it has nothing to do with women)
You were made for God. To paraphrase the great theologian Augustine, your heart will be restless until it finds its rest in your Creator.
But all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God—you and me included. This sin has set you at enmity with God. There is nothing you can do in your own strength or power to become righteous enough, holy enough, or clean enough to ascend his holy mountain and stand in his presence.
In your own strength, you simply have no hope.
But glory of glories, God did for you what you could not do yourself. He did not simply stand above and bid you make the impossible climb. Instead, He stooped. He came down. He took on mortal flesh in the person of Jesus Christ. He fulfilled all righteousness. He died in your place for your sins upon the cross. He was buried, and on the third day He rose again.
If you will turn to him in faith, he will freely forgive you of all of your sins, put his Holy Spirit in you, and give you his very self forever.
One sinner to another? Take the offer. It won't stand forever. You are not promised tomorrow.
I understand that:
They want you murdered.
They want to rape your women.
They want to trans your children.
Your country is being ripped from you.
You have no where else to go.
The forces of culture, church, government, media, and entertainment have conspired to ruin your people.
And that they have done this all with your tithes and taxes.
But the reason you have been called to stand before the Session of Elders at Ichabod Presbyterian Church of Southwest Arkansas is because you have opposed them in a way that a 65 year old divorcee in the congregation may find offensive.
My brother was concerned to learn his wife was a Lindsay Clancy supporter.
He asked her why, and when she would give her reasoning he said “let’s ask AI” and told it to validate the statements with source material.
3 statements in she realized her algorithm had fed her a bunch of garbage and she was wrong.
He’s now used this method with a number of Clancy supporters, they’re embarrassed to discover they’ve been manipulated by their feed.
Instead of telling people they’re wrong, we all would benefit by politely helping others discover truth on their own, so the next time they’re told something ridiculous they make an effort to verify the claims.
The country my children and grandchildren will inherit is far more important to me than the momentary avoidance of being called names by functional liberals pretending to be conservatives.
Go ahead, call us names.
We will continue to fight for the future of our homeland.
