@LadySylphide @aliemboyfriend Books in this series are longer &more complex than most of Ruby's work. I agree you'd be really lost without reading at least Bound to the Battle God first.
It's a complicated world & she's telling a complex story.
Series is FANTASTIC. More in depth than her usual quickie style.

@miniondeathcult This must be fairly common in Colorado. A few yrs back friends rented a property for a couple of years that was the exact same type of situation. Even though the creek ran through their property the community had access to it. They even had access to park on a spot on their land

@rainyruns I'm still masking for one reason.
I've been much, much less sick since masking started. No flu, no colds, no sinus infections, no bronchitis. Had covid once just after last Christmas where I saw lots of family.
I don't care if all it's doing is blocking pollen, I'm keeping it.
