@Garanol22 I would assume since you play on a screen size that large, you value quality and performance. You 100% should run 4K. VRR on or off with ps5 pro doesn’t make a major difference, but if you want the most optimal performance turn it on.
@robsoncorrreia Because of the lower dsync on ps5 pro, the 120fps frame rate is more stable without many drops, on the standard ps5 the dsync causes this number to drop more than often.
@casia7 Never said it didn’t, I said you don’t need it because with the extremely low dsync with the pro, fps tops out at 120 without drops. It doesn’t have a benefit or disadvantage having VRR on on ps5 pro.
People have to understand that as console players, following the class setups of pros and individuals with superbly optimized pc builds can be detrimental, because these high fps numbers they achieve play a major factor in things like recoil control, ttk etc.
@imnoobmaster33 Exactly why you need variable refresh rate, so you can maximize your FPS, so if I was a regular ps5 user I would invest in a monitor that supports VRR
