@SDsoccerFC Curious to hear what this is, but IMO the only way for HS soccer to survive as a competitive option in Missouri is for MSHSAA to make some sort of compromise with club soccer.
@SoccerDadPod@LadueSoccer@Don_K_Williams If you’re playing for City, do it. But if you’re not playing MLS Academy teams the level of play isn’t always great. Does STL really have 3 teams per age group of players at the MLS Next level?
@KcVictor13112@ImCollegeSoccer A SLSG ECNL Navy parent just told me a story of how they forfeited their game against Fusz’s GA team a few years ago. Funny huh?
@cwhall75@SeeMaRRon@BeauIgor My daughter received little responses from college coaches. Joined an ECNL club and things have dramatically changed. She’s the exact same player.

“Ultimately,” Robertson concludes, “and I'll get a lot of people that hate me for saying this, but 95% of clubs rely on, ‘Hey, we have this patch, so we have an exclusive pathway.’ So they don't have to really focus on actually developing players.”

@JTShehan1@ImCollegeSoccer@HenryBushnell@YahooSports Unfortunately, if I can’t/don’t want to pay the thousands of dollars the club will say “see you later then” because there’s always someone willing to step in for that patch.
Tips for college coaches and their ID camps. Families spend a lot of $. At least act like you’re paying attention. If there are multiple games going on, stand in the middle and spend time watching everyone. Stay off your phones!!!!!

@summitsoccer026@MSHSAAOrg I think every year someone proposes an end to OT/pks and I’m always told it doesn’t pass because the rural schools want a winner.
@summitsoccer026 It won’t change. @MSHSAAOrg doesn’t adapt or adjust to anything. Most change requires a vote of members. The non-KC/STL schools have too much say for things to change. They can outvote. It benefits them to have the districts the way they are.
@page21788472@ZumSouth@FZSchools@MSHSAAOrg I didn’t trash talk the players, but the coaches. There’s no reason 3 of the best players in the state should be on the field long enough to score 15 goals. Nothing you say can convince me otherwise.
How do you do this to someone @ZumSouth ? This is ridiculous and a totally classless move. @FZSchools@MSHSAAOrg this is why the success factor should apply to public’s too. They play no one to win state every year.
