George Michael on the set of Wham!’s 1983 “Club Tropicana” music video in Ibiza.
George Michael is pictured wearing a captain’s jacket while filming Wham!’s 1983 music video for “Club Tropicana” in Ibiza. The video helped define the fun, carefree image that became synonymous with Wham! during their rise to fame. Michael was only 20 when the song was released and was rapidly becoming an international pop star.
“Club Tropicana” became one of Wham!’s signature songs, remembered for its colorful tropical setting and playful atmosphere. At the time, Michael and Andrew Ridgeley were establishing Wham! as one of the biggest pop duos of the 1980s. Michael would later achieve even greater success as a solo artist with hits including “Faith,” “Careless Whisper,” and “Freedom! ’90.”

@petemorristwit Just remember that it was Tony Bliars Labour Party that changed how GPs were funded and organised. Effectively turning them into businesses. The pandemic just helped them along to be less accessible ! Also senior doctors union like to suppress the training of new doctors!
Today marks the 16th anniversary of the incident at Atherstone-on-Stour where four of our firefighters lost their lives.
Our flags will be lowered to half-mast and we will be pausing at 7.28pm to remember our four fallen colleagues, Darren, Ashley, Ian and John.

@commander_jan@TribesBritannia Sounds like no one suffers mental health and emotional issues but them. They have the monopoly on that apparently. All the damage they’ve caused to others (Family, friends or Foes).
