✅ give individuals the right to access, delete & correct info
✅ Make sure there aren't unfair, biased, or discriminatory effects on consumers

The Internet has changed a lot since 1996, and Section 230 isn’t perfect. The same freedom that has allowed communities of color to share our too often unheard and unseen content, has also provided space for voices that promote hate and marginalization.
For communities of color - who have long endured under-representation and misrepresentation by the mainstream media -- Section 230 provided the opportunity to take control over our narrative and tell our own stories.
