After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today.

I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.

It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC.

An Indian girl was a victim of Jeffrey Epstein. What’s even more shocking is that the Indian Embassy received an email asking them to identify her so she could receive compensation. And yet, there was no response.

Who is going to take responsibility for this?

Indian government, including External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and then-Ambassador Harsh Vardhan Shringla, failed to respond to this request, effectively "ignoring" the victim. OR . Hiding the crime?

And then we hear words from Hardeep Puri like, 'I was uneasy,' or, 'In hindsight, it was a mistake.' Did they really not know? This is a letter that arrived at the Indian Embassy. The Ambassador ignored it. The Indian Government ignored it. Why?

They were asking for the girl's address and contact information so they could process her compensation through the Embassy. But no—apparently, it doesn't matter. I guess only defense deals, Pegasus, and big business matter to them.

The email included FBI paperwork and was sent at 6:26 PM on that January day in 2020.

And to this day, there has been no reply.

Today marks a historic demolition of @ECISVEEP's bloated arrogance. The CEC once strutted around like an untouchable overlord, convinced his word was final. That delusion has been shattered into oblivion.

Roll observers had been stonewalling and parking legitimate claims, all while plotting to erase legitimate voters in a bid to rig the game for their political masters. But the Supreme Court just delivered the knockout punch. All claims, objections, and logical discrepancy cases will now be handled by impartial judicial officers appointed by the Chief Justice of the Calcutta High Court.

This is a blow to an Election Commission that ditched its sacred constitutional duty and morphed into a partisan hit squad serving BJP's vested interests. They've been dragged back to reality and reminded that the sovereign power of the people crushes the petty ambitions of those in power.

Shocked again!

Yet again, our Prime Minister aggressively displays his cultural insensitivity to great figures of Bengal. Today is the janmatithi of Yugavatara (God's incarnation in our age) Sri Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsadeva. While trying to hail the great saint on this occasion, our PM added an unprecedented and improper prefix to the great saint's name, “Swami”!

As is well known, Sri Ramakrishna was widely revered as Thakur (literally, God). While his ascetic disciples constituted the Ramakrishna Math and the Ramakrishna Mission after their Master's demise, and those monks were then called “Swami” as per Indian traditions, the Master, the Acharya, himself continued to be referred to as Thakur. The prefix “Swami” was meant for his disciples in the Ramakrishna Order; but the holy trinity of the Order remained Thakur–Ma–Swamiji. Thakur is Sri Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsadeva, Ma is Ma Sarada, and Swamiji is Swami Vivekananda.

I urge the Prime Minister kindly not to discover new prefixes and suffixes for the great Renaissance figures of Bengal who shaped modern India.
