Inflation is down, wages are up and new jobs numbers show this @AlboMP@AustralianLabor Government has delivered the lowest average unemployment of any Australian government in the last 50 years. #auspol#ausecon
With Labor, renewables are at record highs. Unlike Dutton’s plan, we’re reducing pollution NOW and transforming Australia into a renewable energy superpower.
Australia has the highest per capita takeup of rooftop solar. Our lived experience is that renewables are cheaper and cleaner zero emissions technology than high risk nuclear reactors with radioactive waste. Dutton’s plan is political cover for extending vested coal/gas.
@CraigHill01 Is this a humble brag you’ve got a pic of your right nut?
I wasn’t even offered a pic when I had right nut ultrasounded.
Just a compliment on my diligence to find a lump so small.
@troyhunt For me it was a great read on the Indian Pacific just after it was published.
Fascinating how a few random events coalesce into something unique.
The problem with the Labor Party is that ever since the sacking of the Whitlam government, they've tried not to be a government the powers that be ever want to sack again.
When they should have tried to be a government the powers that be wanted to sack every time.
@strangerous10 We must remember that Albo wanted LNP on board for NACC legislation.
Why? Who the fuck knows. Maybe that meeting with murdochs would elucidate.
The LNP must be very happy with the NACC they agreed to.
Works exactly as intended!
@JEChalmers Shame you won’t tax the deadbeat multinationals and add to the fund.
You want Australia to stay weath robbed , just like LNP have always done.
The Member for Kooyong @Mon4Kooyong has introduced the Lobbying (Improving Government Honesty and Trust) Bill 2024 in the House this morning.

Consecutive govts talk about the “pacific family” while continuing to approve fossil fuel projects that’ll make some pacific islands uninhabitable 😰
The major parties are captured by fossil fuel industry who put their profits ahead of our futures.

@techAU The agreement is doubtful whether cybertrucks even exist yet.
Seems an odd thing to agree to given there are some on the roads.
The agreement is as shoddy as the product.
@PaulRob11880584@AdamBandt Imagine nationals taking on liberals. Sheer idiocy.
But @Greens take on @AustralianLabor and think they have any chance, apart from minor peripheral damage?
Sheer idiocy!
