@TJ_Pittinger Curt’s takes have been pretty bad. Bemoaned us saving Wes vs St Johns (we had a 5-2 lead going into the 8th) but now we should have saved Beard with a 1 run lead vs our biggest threat in regional? With our inept offense? Easy call to start Beard.

1. CCU is the most talented opponent and biggest threat we’ll face

2. Can’t rely on the inept offense to do anything, so you need to protect the 1 run lead - need to throw our best pitcher available.

@jewil4_ @CurtMWeiler 3-4-5-6 hitters went a combined 1-17 with 6Ks and 8 LOB and Curt wants to coulda woulda shoulda starting pitching. Even with Bailey, this lineup as a whole has been inconsistent as hell all year and not FSU caliber

@CurtMWeiler Starting pitching was not the problem tonight. Inconsistent offense - 3-4-5-6 hitters went a combined 1-17 (.058) with 8 runners LOB and then your 2 best arms out of the bullpen blow a 3 run lead in the 8th inning.
