We are a community of faith located in downtown Baton Rouge helping each other grow in our love of God, each other, and ourselves (we like to call this LOVE³).
Jesus calls us to be carriers of His #compassion. Not just sympathy or empathy, but action that brings healing. When we clothe ourselves in compassion and pour #Christ's love into hurting lives, hope takes root and even the driest valleys begin to bloom. Will you go?
#Love moves toward the hurt: Followers of Jesus don't turn away from the world's wounds. We feed the hungry, clothe those in need, forgive those who harm us, and speak up for justice because we're participating in God's redemptive story, not trying to be the heroes of our own.
Abraham's story isn't just ancient history—it's your story too. From Mount Moriah to the cross, #God has been writing a rescue story for the whole world.
This Sunday, May 24, we celebrate two meaningful moments in the life of the Church: #Pentecost and #Aldersgate Day. To celebrate, we’ll be serving cake in the Ory Parish Hall after each worship service. Please stop by, enjoy a slice, and celebrate with us!
The #Ascension means there's a human body in heaven—Jesus's body. This tells us where we're going (heaven and earth united), who we are (beloved children of God), and why we're here (to be witnesses of His love). Christ will return and make all things new.
