Oh good! They seemed to have fixed at least one problem from the last media tab update. It thankfully shows pics on a wide grid again on users media picture tab.
I see they changed the profile tabs... Moving "likes" over to history is fine I guess, but they need to update the media tab with a "all" option, only being able to pick one type can make browsing for everything tedious... also, videos as the default tab just isn't good design.
@gh02tboi@_DeadSlug_ I am wondering if some artists are getting accidentally hit in the crossfires of this place's frequent bot purges. I noticed today one artist I follow is missing, and he didn't say anything about it on any other site he uses, which is strange IMO.
@Cornf_Blue As a character design focused artist myself, I think you really improved on her design! The newest one has a more memorable feel. The bigger eyes work better for this kinda chibi style, and the bigger boobs are charming, and is bit rare for MCs outside of pure ero titles.
@Cornf_Blue I feel Divided looks the best overall to me, it reminds me on one of the covers from the first Disgaea game, and it just gives a nice impression of adventure. After that Sprint & Islands are good too. Maybe a vague mix of the 3 ideas could work well!
Franchises often get reboots/reimagined sequels far later that change all the designs, art & story style or general direction in a way that is a sanitized downgrade, and almost always defended by online weirdos who say "something is better then nothing!" and I outright disagree.
I've had some interest, but I never have played a Rayman game before... and even I can say that new Rayman design from Legends Retold looks awful compared to the past more toony styles.
I've been using Twitter since 2012... and the DM system on here is still somehow a buggy mess after all these years. Sometimes it won't show if you got a new message, other times it will just fail to send a message. It also can only delete a message from your own inbox. Terrible!
I just realized Gameoverse is basically a Isekai anime, same thing with The amazing Digital Circus. Proves how the genre continues to be popular no matter the exact form it takes. xD
@dryorgasmon I also remember the lack of hentai for Pokemon & Sonic Franchise there was back then. There was no dedicated collection websites to browse for fan art yet, only small amounts on some random artist personal websites. When places like DA & FA came, it changed everything.
So many unhinged people these days. Thought I had made a fun friend in Yugioh, but he was depressed & kept saying his life sucked. I tried to be super nice & cheer him up constantly. But in the end he got mad at me, and blocked me over basically nothing. Can't win sometimes. :/
Just watched the Gameoverse pilot! Was extremely good! Gotta be among the best western indie cartoons I seen in years! Hope it takes off nicely, it has a lot to live up to if it wants to take the place from Circus as Glitch's spotlight series.
I wanna do some Kit fan art now! xD
Seeing a trend today of folk discussing if artists should be allowed to use the art from their commissioners freely. The fact is while artists may own the artwork itself, but they can't do whatever they want with commissioned art if the character is copyrighted by the customer.
I hate it when somebody from your following list on here disappears, and you'll have no idea who it was without going to hell trying to figure it out. FYI it took me awhile, but found out one of the artists I was following here is gone, no idea why either, which sucks! :Y
The new Toons cards in Yugioh are pretty hype! Really happy to see Dark Rabbit & Bickuribox get the remakes everybody wanted to see happen for ages, and the new Toon World with a closer effect to the anime version was a surprising treat too!
Wish I could get excited about the new DotHack// game coming... But the characters are just alternate designs based on the first set of games again... Technically different characters? sure! But feels like a pointless reimagining. Sometimes old franchises should be left alone.
