One minute, you and your classmates are gathered around the class bin, sharpening pencils.
Next minute, you’re attending each other’s weddings and naming ceremonies.
Time.
Just remember that this human experience is temporary. You arrive with nothing, you spend your whole life chasing everything, but still leave with nothing. So make sure that your soul gains more than your hands.
The older I get the more I realize:
• Silence is a response
• Being unbothered is a skill
• No is a full sentence
• Most "urgent" things can wait
• Respect > Attention
• Apologies are empty without change
• Movement is medicine
• You're not for everyone, and that's fine
Find every single thing to be celebrated. Do this intentionally.
Life becomes heavier as time goes by. You're not gonna survive if you keep choosing to only see the dark.
