President Tinubu is setting a precedence that is not only dangerous, but will be almost impossible to reverse when he is done with his tenure.

His systemic approach to shifting the entire burden of governance to the citizens while freeing up the government of its responsibilities is not only anti-people but really weird.

At a time when Nigeria needs egalitarian leadership, we are faced with a President that wants ‘market forces’ to drive the prices of essential and non essential items in the country, the ultimate outcome for that is a high cost environment where the cost of living is always going up. Because as of today, Nigeria’s demand for essential goods and services outweigh supply.

We are in for a rough ride over the next few years.
