@pecotito_ @LocalBtnMasher Considering that rhythm games are quite literally one of the primary modern arcade genres, probably? There's a pretty large distinction between failing a sorter segment as opposed to something longer, though.

@Bugnie_games @LocalBtnMasher even within these genres of games, the pick-3 formula is actively worse than almost any other example. Balatro has a relatively complex economy to manage, and Binding of Isaac has that + 101 ways to effect the shops and item availability. 3 pick 1 is just lazy.

@LocalBtnMasher This is the same problem that exists with Save States / Rewind. Should be exclusively the domain of command consoles so ppl know that they're fucking with the game when using it. Legitimising it by making it a pretty menu with all of this bespoke shit is such a slippery slope.

I had a Haze player literally start spamming slurs in chat and eventually just AFk farming until end because I bought Return Fire, Rusted Barrel > Disarm since their team had like 3 different gun carries. @sorocore Not knowing how to use tracklock builds is your main problem. It's like using Dota+ build and following the actual build path. You have to know the character and how it builds first before D+/Tracklock are useful tools
