Why did the council award £480,000 of taxpayer's money to one school? A school whose Chair of Governors is also the Head of the RBWM Finance Committee.

Holyport College currently holding a consultation on the admissions policy and proposing to remove Y9 intake. This was a key selling point when they applied to the DoEducation to open a free school, it might be of interest to parents in the borough.

If I was @MrSimonDudley I would ensure no bias by being transparent. Why National not local %? Which Heads were involved? What was his involvement?

So this is the justification. The borough average is 2% and 8 of our secondary schools have a % above that according to DfE figures. Deciding to use the 2.9% figure meant that only HC and Altwood qualified for extra funding. 1/2
