Final update: here's the footage from after the AI short aired at Annecy. When creating art we have to think of the mediums we use and the message that is conveyed. In this case, one cannot critique fascism while actively engaging (and supporting) it via the medium used (a LLM).

My main takeaway from the Annecy International Animation festival is that Air Swiss managed to lose my luggage twice.

Saw a lot of films at Annecy this year. TANGLES is probably the frontrunner for the Oscars, but JULIAN from Cartoon Saloon is head and shoulders the best thing I saw all week.
