Losing Bruno hurts, and it feels like a sad end, but the man deserves applause, not abuse, when he returns.

He threw himself into the city/project with his family mid-relegation battle, brought passion and a fierce will to win, 63 goal involvements in 195 games, two Champions League campaigns and one trophy in a four-year stint.

The best midfielder I've seen at Newcastle United, a warrior on the pitch and an infectious character who'll be sorely missed.
