@willo2_Poly Entire reason they allowed the market to continue trading past stated resolution was a desperate attempt to generate crypto volume for a failing franchise. Platform is run by kids not market professionals
@MickBransfield So in order to fix the multitude of tech shortcomings on their platform they hired from the crypto exchange with the least performant matching engine in the country, hahahahaha
@variance_lover The other main issue with using Chainlink as a reference/benchmark for determining whether these markets settle up/down is the benchmark itself is proprietary and not able to be independently verified which makes it worthless as a benchmark.
@devjoshstevens The core of any functional matching engine is the certainty of execution. This hybrid onchain/offchain approach will never achieve that.
@GovSherrillNJ I don’t understand how they just don’t run the same exact schedule they do for NY Giants/Jets games and every other concert that is held at the Meadowlands. The stadium is the exact same size and the current system works fine…
