Today in Madrid, I met with my counterpart @jmalbares, Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of Spain. We signed an MoU on political consultations, strengthening bilateral ties under the Spain-Africa Strategy 2025-2028.

Our bilateral meeting focused on security, trade, energy, climate action and regional stability. We also mutually reaffirmed our commitment to stronger Africa-Europe relations.

Under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been instrumental in deepening global partnerships, driving economic cooperation, and championing humanitarian interventions that safeguard Nigerians at home and abroad.

Through initiatives like the Technical Aid Corps (TAC), we continue to enhance Nigeria’s soft power, fostering capacity-building and solidarity across Africa and beyond.

A special appreciation to the Ministry of Information and National Orientation @FMINONigeria, led by @HMMohammedIdris for hosting this vital platform, ensuring transparency and national engagement.
