“For the past five years, I have been stealing from Davies Hotel. I shared the proceeds with other staff because we were all involved. Between May 2025 and June 2026, about ₦17.8 million of the hotel’s money passed through my account, and I built a house from the proceeds.” — A senior staff member of Davies Hotel Bodija during his confession.
“I was the one that told Gbenga Adeboye’s family the clothes to bury him with… In politics, they have come for my life, shot 5 innocent people dead.” — Makinde reveals in an emotional moment.
You don't truly grasp the scale of the Dangote Refinery until you're standing inside it. This is the view of NNPC Group CEO, Bashir Bayo Ojulari, after a visit.
The infrastructure and the sheer magnitude of the World's largest single train Refinery points to an undeniable fact - interests may conflict, narratives may shift, but one thing is certain, Dangote Refinery hasn't just entered Nigeria's industrial conversation, it has redefined it forever.
THE BATTLE OF DAMBOA 2014: WHEN NIGERIAN SOLDIERS STOOD THEIR GROUND AGAINST HELL 🇳🇬🪖🔥
The Battle of Damboa on 4 July 2014 remains one of the fiercest and most emotional battles in Nigeria’s war against Boko Haram.
That day, heavily armed terrorists launched a massive assault on Damboa, Borno State, attacking military positions with gun trucks, explosives and overwhelming firepower. The battlefield became a storm of bullets, fire and smoke as Nigerian troops fought desperately to prevent the town from completely falling into terrorist hands.
But inside that chaos, bravery was born.
Outnumbered soldiers stood their ground and fought street by street, position by position, refusing to abandon their comrades. Officers led from the front, not from behind. Some climbed into burning armored vehicles. Some continued firing despite injuries. Others stayed back to help trapped soldiers escape even when death was already staring at them.
One of the most unforgettable heroes of that battle was Late Lt. Col. Abubakar Kanze Shonva, who reportedly refused evacuation and instead ordered that trapped female soldiers be rescued first. Moments later, he paid the supreme price during the heat of combat. 🫡🇳🇬
The battle also revealed the raw courage of several officers and soldiers who fought with unbelievable determination despite being heavily outgunned. Many never made it back home.
The truth is, many Nigerians may never fully understand what happened in Damboa that day. But those who survived will never forget the sound of the gunfire, the courage of their brothers-in-arms, and the sacrifice made in defence of Nigeria.
Some battles are fought for territory.
Some are fought for survival.
Damboa was fought for honour.
And though many heroes fell that day, their courage still echoes through the history of the Nigerian military. 🇳🇬🔥🕊️

A rather sordid tale of betrayal, treachery and backstabbing.
Many of these people ended up in PDP.
Democracy was betrayed by these men and we know their names, today, tomorrow and forever.
Today June 12 is 🇳🇬’s Democracy day and for very good reason.

French Prime Minister admits before members of parliament:
Let’s stop talking about an arms embargo against Israel — it’s actually Israel that decides not to buy from us.
Israel is one of the biggest competitors of the French defense industry. It has no dependence on us.
When I was Muslim, I compared Muhammad’s last words to Jesus’ last words.
Not just the facts, but the spirit behind them.
And bro, the difference is staggering. It shook my devout Muslim faith.
According to Sahih al-Bukhari, Muhammad’s final words included: “May Allah curse the Jews and the Christians. They made the graves of their prophets into places of worship.
Those are words associated with his final moments.
No forgiveness. No reconciliation. No peace.
Now compare that to Jesus.
Beaten, betrayed, tortured, hanging on a cross with nails through His wrists, Jesus says:
“Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.”
And then: “It is finished.”
One dies speaking curses.
The other dies extending forgiveness.
One ends by drawing lines and reinforcing division.
The other tears the veil and reconciles heaven and earth.
And whether people like it or not, final words reveal something deeply personal about the heart.
That contrast shook me.
Because one man’s final moments reinforced separation, while the other’s changed eternity through mercy, sacrifice, and love.
Please sit with that honestly.
