This is Cookie, our little ginger cat. My brother brought him home when he was just a month old.

I was terrified of cats, and Cookie knew it. He’d jump on me from the fridge or table and hang onto my hair while I screamed. 😂

The funny thing is, I was scared of him, but I loved him so much.

One night, he got very sick and kept vomiting. I left him in the garage, thinking my brother would bring him back when he returned from football.

We never found Cookie again.

Sometimes I wonder if he thought I left him because I didn’t love him.

But Cookie, I did. I was just scared.
