I am holy
I am righteous
I live as God want me to live
I am the glory of God
I am victorious
I am answer to prayer of many
I do not sin
I am beautiful
I rejoice in the joy of the Lord
I am a giant in the spirit
I bring joy to many
I am so rich
I lend to nations
I am from above.
Mindset shapes perception, but wisdom is knowing that our perspective isn’t the only valid one. We may disagree, yet still listen, question our own views and find common ground. Being right shouldn’t matter more than being willing to understand.
Pure or Distorted Faith?
There are two equal and opposite errors into which our race can fall about devils.
One is to disbelieve in their existence
The other is to believe and to feel an excessive and unhealthy interest in them.
They are equally pleased by both errors
They see both the ignorant and the ones conducting deliverance services or acting directly as their agents, the same way.
We must all never forget that the devil is a liar
A lie needs someone to believe it and to act on the lie or repeat it to others before it can distort belief systems
When the devil came to Jesus with his lies, notice that Jesus didn't act on it or reason with it
He stayed with the truth he has always known, which is the Word of God.
It is all about the source of what you believe
God's word, however incredible or unbelievable, is THE Truth!
The devil's word, whether spoken during a deliverance session or in a book or through a shaman, is A LIE.
If you stick with the truth, you will not even hear the lie or consider it as worthy of your thought
If, however, you listen to the lie and begin to reason, you might end up like Eve.
When you see a Christian who believes the devil can attack him spiritually, know that he has been lied to, and he believed the lie
This does not make him an unbeliever, but it makes him a believer who has bought into a distortion of reality as a result of not holding on steadfastly to the Truth of God's word.
"Touch Not My Anointed" is not an immunity clause in the Bible that protects pastors from being accountable to their flock.
Every believer is anointed; the Spirit-filled believers especially are life-giving spirits, and they are a no-go area for the hordes of darkness.
If you see a believer who is attacked by any demonic spirit. It is a result of what he or she personally believes about evil spirits.
The just shall live by faith
The Just shall live out the reality of their belief system.
Dear Christian,
Always Remember this!

Frame Your World
Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear (Hebrews 11:3).
The Greek word translated “framed” is “Katartizo,” which is to repair, frame, perfect, mend and restore. This lets us know that by applying the right faith principles you can “frame,” repair, restore or recreate your world. Through faith, we understand that God framed, mended, restored and perfected the material world. He framed the visible world from the unseen, revealing to us the power of faith.
Another word to study is “world,” which is translated from the Greek word “aion.” “Aion” refers to the structure and administration of one’s life; how things go with you from day to day, including how they affect your hopes and aspirations. It also refers to the world’s system with respect to socio-economic structures and environmental management of a period in human history, including its arts and sciences.
Bringing this home to your personal life, you can frame how things go with you from day today by speaking forth God’s Word. God made the whole world by speaking forth words; and as His children, we have the same creative power inherent in us because we’re made in His image and in His likeness. There’s a creative force in us, to frame the kind of life and environment we desire. We can alter our destinies and change the course of events in our world through faith-filled words.
This is the key to recreating your life and fulfilling your dreams. Speak forth today, what you want to see in your life and frame your “aion.” As you utter those words of faith, the Holy Spirit will incubate on them and make them a reality. It makes no difference what has happened in your life in the past; there’s hope for a change. The power for that change is in your mouth. Speak words of faith, blessing and power and recreate your world! Perfect, mend and restore everything in your “aion!”
The expression “rhema of God” as you find in the New Testament is never applied to God talking by Himself, but to God putting His Word in man’s heart for man to speak. So, our theme verse doesn’t mean
that God was “framing the aions”; it means that men framed their worlds—courses of life— by using the Word of God; they uttered “rhema.”
With “rhema” you give shape, structure and beauty to your world, to your life; you construct the conditions—what your world and life should be like— with the Word on your lips. What’s your life like today?
Do you want a life of ever-increasing grace, glory and dominion? The key is your mouth!
It makes no difference what obtains presently in your “aion”; you can mend what needs mending; you can restore what needs restoration; you can fix anything that’s been ruined. You can quell terror and
put a halt to the malicious destructions and havoc the devil seeks to wreak in your world, life, family, city or country, or in the lives of your loved ones, by uttering the Word of God that your spirit has taken a hold of.
Use the Word. Put it on your lips and use it to keep the adversary in his place. Use it to frame the course of your life to be consistent with God’s plan and purpose for your life. Hallelujah!
Again…
Aion refers to the course of life: how things go with you and how they work around you. It refers to the world as it is: its systems and directions—the different eras, like you’d say, “the life and times of Mr James,” or “The era of the Roman emperors,” the age, or successive ages of men or societies. Another key term is “word,” which is rendered “rhema” in Greek. Rhema refers to the Word that God speaks, which He addresses directly to the human spirit. It’s different from the “Logos” of God, which created the world: “In the beginning was the Word (Logos), and the Word (Logos) was with God, and the Word (Logos) was God” (John 1:1). Our opening verse, however, isn’t talking about the creation of all things. It says, “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God….” This is talking about your life and your “aion”: using your faith to frame, repair, arrange, or fashion your life and your world to synchronize with God’s perfect will. This was what the great elders of faith did: They “framed” their world by the Word (Rhema) of God. That’s another key word: “framed,” which is from the Greek, “katartizo.” It means to mend, to fix, to set in order, to arrange, and to fashion. The elders of faith received the “Rhema” of God, and corrected, fashioned their times with “Rhema”—the spoken Word. The Lord Jesus said, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4). That’s “Rhema.” When God speaks His Word to your heart, He’s giving you “Rhema” and He expects you to declare it. Use it to frame your life and your future.
Genesis chapter one shows us how God created all things; it was through words. He spoke, and everything He said, became. That’s because speech (words) create sound waves—energy. This is one reason why meditating on the Word is so important.
Meditation has three phases or levels. Level one is when you speak under your voice. Then in the second level, you’re literally talking or muttering. The third and final level is when you shout or roar; you’re talking aloud. This final phase is so important because of the power of sound or energy of words.
This is why when you read scriptures, you should oftentimes read them aloud. Read your Rhapsody of Realities aloud, including the prayers and confessions. Your affirmation of the Word is very important. God gave us a tongue so we could talk, and when you talk, energy is released.
Through the energy of words, God recreated and brought order to the world, which hitherto was a chaotic mass (Genesis 1). Ephesians 5:1 tells us to emulate Him as His beloved children. What God did in Genesis 1 was for us to emulate. With words, you’re to maintain the beauty and glory of your life and change circumstances and situations in line with God’s will. By your words, you can chart your course in victory and success.
Jesus said you shall have what you say (Mark 11:23); so don’t keep quiet. There’s a reason for speaking. Even the very principle of salvation stresses the importance of speaking. It says, “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:10). Confession here means, “saying what God has said in agreement with Him.” It’s translated from the Greek word “Homologeo”—which primarily means to say the same thing as another in agreement. That’s what makes His Word effectual in your life.
It’s not enough to “believe” the Word of God with your heart; you have to declare it with your mouth to experience the blessings therein. The Bible says Christ is your life. Christ is your wisdom. Christ is your righteousness. Christ in you, the hope of glory. For the rest of today, meditate on these truths about Christ, saying them aloud every so often.
The Bible says that the worlds were framed by words, more specifically, by the Word of God. The Greek word for “frame” means to render, fit together, equip, arrange, adjust, put in order, perfect, complete thoroughly. The worlds — the heavens and the earth — were put in order and brought to completion through the command of God. The word for “word” here is rhema and refers to the acutely articulated and precisely particularized word spoken by God. For example, when darkness covered the face of the deep, God said, “Light, be!” and there was light (Genesis 1:3). His rhema brought the darkness into order by establishing light.
Because the world was created and framed by the spoken word, it also responds to the spoken word. For example, Jesus rebuked the fever in Peter’s mother-in-law and commanded the wind and the waves. He also taught His disciples about the power of their words:
Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, “Be removed and be cast into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. (Mark 11:22-23)
The key, of course, is faith in God. Rendered literally, the Greek text has “faith of God.” That is, the God-kind of faith, or the kind of faith that comes from God. The Bible in Basic English translates it as “Have God’s faith.” The faith that comes from God comes by hearing the Word of God. Paul said, “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word [rhema] of God” (Romans 10:17). When we have the faith that comes from God, and we believe in our heart, then the words we speak with our mouth will be done.
That is how God made us to function. He created man in His image and likeness, that is, to be like Him. When he form Adam from the dust of the ground, He puffed His breath into Adam’s nostrils, and Adam became a “living being” (Genesis 2:7), or as ancient an Jewish commentary put it, a “speaking spirit.”
God created us to speak, and He gave us the mandate to subdue the earth and bring it into divine order (Genesis 1:28). The first assignment He gave Adam was to name the animals, that is, to bring them into divine order by the words with which he would call them (Genesis 2:19). God created the animals, but by naming and calling them, Adam determined what they were going to be about. By words, he established their purpose and destiny within the plan of God. To put it another way, Adam framed his world — the realm of his existence and the sphere of his influence — by the words of his mouth.
Of course, we know that Adam and Eve rebelled in the Garden of Eden, and by their disobedience disconnected from the life of God. From that day on, man began calling forth all sorts of things that God never intended to be upon the earth, framing the world by faithless, fearful words. But that is why Jesus came, to deliver us from the curse. Even in the Old Testament, God promised that a Redeemer would come, a Messiah who would rule and reign and restore the order of God’s kingdom on earth.
We are now living in that time. When the Lord Jesus Christ came two thousand years ago, He sacrificed Himself for our sins, then was raised from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit and seated at the right hand of the Father in heaven (Ephesians 1:19-23).
Because of Jesus the Messiah, we can now speak words of faith, words that come from God’s own mouth. We can frame our world through rhema words and bring it into the order God in which God intended us to live.
PS: PSSBC school 25 is now open, this will be my first official invitation to you to join our free classes for the next few days so you can decide if the school is for you or not.

Faultless
Imagine Samson was not told he had a weak point
Look at the life of Samson and his lifestyle
Read Judges 13 to 16 as many times as you desire
Pay attention to the character of God in these passages
Samson went to marry someone his parents didn't want him to marry
It led to trouble, Samson prevailed
Samson was going on a journey, a lion charged at him
Samson prevailed
Samson was very hungry on one of his journeys
He stumbled upon the carcass of the Lion he killed and found out
bees had taken it over and were making honey in it
Samson ate honey, Samson prevailed over hunger
Samson came up with a riddle for his wife's family members
It was a riddle that hinged upon a wager
If they couldn't come up with an answer, they would all end up making Samson very rich and if they did Samson would have to make them rich
Samson's wife's family members couldn't solve the riddle
They threatened Samson's wife and her father
Samson's wife went to him and asked for the answer to the riddle
Samson foolishly told her the answer
Her family members solved the riddle and by so doing they plunged Samson into a mountain of debt.
Samson went on a raid and killed many Philistines
The properties of those he killed were used to pay his debt
Samson was angry his trust in his wife was exploited
God was never angry with Samson
Samson was a one-man wrecking ball
The Israelites didn't really like him because he was a one-man army
who did whatever he liked
He was difficult to control or reason with
For Samson to get involved in a fight, it will not be for motherland or fatherland.
It will be for Samson
It has to be personal
He was not like Gideon or Saul
He was not a commander of men
The only time Samson worked with a team was when he gathered three hundred foxes and set their tails on fire so as to ruin the harvest of the Philistines.
Samson was indomitable
Samson was a maverick
Samson was a law unto himself
Samson did whatever Samson wanted and nobody could hold him to account
Some of us are frowning at this as we read
That is a pity
That is how we were naturally raised to be
There was no character that was as close to Jesus in the Bible as Samson
Many Christians think obedience to human norms, mores and cultures, rules and regulations is the essence of Christianity
They forget the Lamb was only a lamb unto God
Jesus was never a lamb unto men
The day Jesus took the throne as a lamb in Revelations 5, he became like Samson, a LION
A ruler who was handed the sceptre to rule without the agreement or vote or consensus or mandate of human beings
Samson was given the right to rule before he was born
The opinions of people and society were of no consequence to him
Jesus was given the rule before he was born
The opinions of people and society were of no consequence to him
You as a Christian were given the right to rule and reign before you were born as declared by angels in Reveations 5
9 And they sang a new song, saying:
“You are worthy to take the scroll
and to open its seals,
because you were slain,
and with your blood you purchased for God
persons from every tribe and language and people and nation.
You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God,
and they will reign on the earth.”
Many Christians think conforming to human norms is what it means to be Christians.
Their doctors will tell them something they will swallow it hook line and sinker.
The governments of this world will tell them something, they will not even bother to ask questions.
They however will say "I am not sure if it is the Holy Spirit talking to me or not, so I didn't do what the Holy Spirit said because I was not sure"
They know the voice of men (unbelievers) and they are guided by it
Somehow they believe by doing this they are pleasing God
Jesus said a time will come when people will kill Christians and believe that they are pleasing God by doing so
If the Christians agreed with them and obeyed them, there would be no need for them to want to kill them
If they were like Samson and Jesus, many would want to kill them and they would believe killing them was justified because they were deviants
Samson was the complete picture of liberty
A Christian full of the Holy Spirit who can do whatsoever the Spirit leads or instructs him to do without caring whose ox was gored.
This was how Jesus lived his life too.
Samson went to a strange Philistine city to spend the night with a Philistine prostitute.
His assailants trapped him in the city by shutting the city gate with the intention of killing him
Samson walked out and pulled the gates off their hinges, then he carried it on his back as the people shot arrows, slings, stones, sticks, rocks and other weapons at him.
The gate protected him from everything they threw at him
At a point, the Philistines went to have a meeting with the Israelites
They threatened to sanction the Israelites and burn their farms if they don't hand over Samson to them so that they could kill him for his numerous crimes against them
The Israelites went to have a meeting with Samson and told him the demands of the Philistines
Samson curiously begged them not to kill him but to ensure they hand him over to the Philistines
I found Samson's request to be very strange
These were his kinsmen, his kinsfolks who were supposed to go to bat for him and defend him regardless of whatever he might have done.
They didn't because he was not a conformist
He did his thing his way
Society loves those who do things their way
Religious people loved those who did their things the way they were told
This is why religious folks can't be spiritual even though they pretend all day and want people to believe they are
Nicodemus was a very religious man but he was not a spiritual man
Jesus was a spiritual man but he was not a religious man
Religion and spirituality don't mix!
Nicodemus, Pilate, Herod, and The High Priest all belong in the same set
Jesus, John the Baptist, Jeremiah, Daniel, Samson all belong in the same set
I needed you to see that Samson can be indicted on morals by religious people but God did not judge Samson on morals
Samson was handed over to the Philistines and the cords they tied him with burnt off his hands
With the jawbone of a donkey he killed a thousand philistines
When he was done, he was tired and he fainted
He needed some water
None of his kinfolks who delivered him to the Philistines was around to lend a hand of help or even give him a cup of water
They had thrown him to the wolves and abandoned him
Samson prayed to God
Judges 15: 18 Because he was very thirsty, he cried out to the Lord, “You have given your servant this great victory. Must I now die of thirst and fall into the hands of the uncircumcised?” 19 Then God opened up the hollow place in Lehi, and water came out of it. When Samson drank, his strength returned and he was revived.
So the spring was called En Hakkore,[c] and it is still there in Lehi.
God gave Samson water to drink supernaturally
God didn't tell Samson to Cease and Desist or to behave
Samson was right in the centre of God's will
Men had condemned him
His own kinsfolk wanted nothing to do with him
God rooted for Samson!
The Philistines had been told through their investigations that Samson had an Achilles heel, a weak point, a kryptonite that could render his Superman powerless
How could they have guessed this?
They were told
A Jew told them
They didn't know what it was but they had an idea he had a weak spot
So they got Delilah, another lady who Samson had a weakness for to beguile him as the eve beguiled Adam and find out what the secret was
I have seen this weakness in Christendom over the years that is of great concern to me
This kryptonite, that religious people bandy over men and women in whom God seriously invested his power
Kathryn Khulman got married.
Religious folks said she got married to another woman's husband and while she was married to that man, they stifled her ministry and didn't allow her to do the work God called her to do
Did God leave her because of that marriage?
Is that consistent with the Character of God?
I remember a Christian brother I know whose wife was a thorn in his flesh.
His wife would tell him "I am the life of your ministry, you know that once I divorce you, your ministry and calling is over.
So you better sit up and do my will"
I cannot count the number of times a Christian minister or preacher was cancelled because he had sex with someone.
The entire ministry and investment of the Holy Spirit would go to waste over something that had no bearing on who a believer is or the mission he has been called to fulfil in Christ.
We act as if the Christian is like Samson
A man of conditional power
The Christian has no weak points
No believer who received Jesus Christ as Lord and saviour was given a warning the way the angel warned Samson's parents when he was telling them about Samson's peculiarities
No believer who received the baptism of the Holy Spirit was told there was a condition attached to the Zoe life he has received after giving his or her life to Christ.
We are greater than Samson
In Christ, I am greater than Samson
Delilah got the information she needed from Samson and this led to his downfall.
Imagine Samson had no weakness, no secret code, no power attached to his hair that could be cut off with a razor
Imagine Delilah came to you asking you what your weak point is as a Christian
What would you call it?
Most believers will say it is "Sin"
And they will be very wrong
Romans 6:14 "For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace"
Romans 6:10 "And so, because he died, sin has no power over him; and now he lives his life in fellowship with God"
Romans 8:2 "Because we belong to Jesus, 'the power of the life-giving Spirit' has set us free 'from the power of sin that leads to death'"
Jesus said the Devil has Nothing In You!
The Lord Jesus made a powerful statement while addressing His disciples during the closing moments of His earthly ministry. He said, “…for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me” (John 14:30). What Jesus actually meant was that Satan had nothing to his advantage in Him (Jesus). What a confession!
Does Satan have anything in you? “No” knowing that when Christ reproduced you through His Word, Satan had nothing in you. James 1:18 says, “Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth….” 1 Peter 1:23 says, “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever.” The Word of God that gave birth to you is perfect and incorruptible; therefore, nothing of darkness is in you.
A born-again journalist found herself in a hotel room with a man some years ago, they had sex and the man suddenly clutched his chest and died.
The man flew into Abuja for a high-profile court case
The sister was covering the court case for the TV station she worked for
They talked briefly after the case and the man invited her over to his hotel
They were both married
After the man had slumped and died the sister sat in the room and began to weep
This is the judgement of God.
God has found her out in her sin and the wages of sin had been visited upon her.
The man was dead
She was sure of that
Now she needed to find a way to call the attention of the hotel to what had happened.
If she sneaked out of the hotel, she would be the main suspect and she would spend years in jail.
She was a journalist and she knew she would be on the front page of newspapers and her career and marriage were over
Her life was over
This woman also happened to have my number
She called me and told me what had happened
She wanted counsel on what to say to the hotel management
I asked her if she had prayed
She said God cannot answer her prayer because of where she was and what she was doing before the man died
I said "Huh"
Was the scripture not clear when the Word said "call upon me in the day of trouble?"
What day of trouble could be greater than this?
Samson called in the day of trouble.
David prayed that the counsel of Ahitophel become foolishness while he was in serious trouble.
There is no better time to call upon the Lord than when you have fumbled the ball.
The Bible said those who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved
There was no condition attached to it
Sister, you are in trouble now, let us call upon the Lord
She said "Yes sir"
She laid her hands on the man's chest and prayed a simple prayer
I was praying with her on the phone
"Father, I lay my hand upon this body and I command life to return to it in the name of Jesus.
I am a life-giving spirit, therefore I command
Life be restored into this body now in the name of Jesus.
The man took a deep breath in and gasped to life
The lady screamed "He is back, he is back, he is alive"
Thirty minutes later, the man had fully recovered
He dressed up and saw her off
The lady left the hotel with her life intact
Both the lady and the man are still alive today
The man gave his life to Christ and became a pastor after that incident
The lady and her family are now in Canada
Some of you reading this will say it was "mercy" that prevailed over judgment.
This is not so
Christians always come up with phrases that weaken their identity and abilities because of how badly religion had taken over our consciousness.
She was a saint when she met the man, she was a saint when she was having sex with the man and she was still a saint after having sex with the man
His action did not change her status, for it was bequeathed upon her divinely when she gave her life to Jesus and accepted Him as Lord and Saviour.
Her actions and the actions of the man were ungodly, evil, vile and reprehensible.
They both should be tarred and feathered for such behaviour.
However, she was still a bonafide saint and her words were still full of power and authority.
She just needed to be reminded and restored to her rightful way of thinking.
Samson didn't have anyone to do that for him
His hair grew back and his strength returned
He could have asked God for a new pair of eyes
He would have broken the chains that held him and killed all the Philistines who were mocking him in their temple.
He could have returned home and continued to trouble everybody until he grew old and died.
He however forgot who he was, what the word of God said about him and the status God bestowed upon him supernaturally.
Jesus didn't forget this status on the cross, even though condemned as a criminal and paraded on the street.
He was still the Son of God.
Samson was the saviour with the weakness that the enemy could capitalise upon
Jesus had no weaknesses
Jesus gave you an armour without a chink
Jesus gave you eternal life
You have no Achilles heel
You are complete in Him.
PS: This is not an excuse to abuse grace or a license to sin
This is Royalty, the status of a King and a Priest
Nothing could touch Aaron regarding sin even in the days of Moses
He who wore the ephod was immune to judgment
Nothing could touch Jesus as regarding sin
He became sin that you may become the righteousness of God
You are god and a child of the Most High
Your salvation has no weakness

Breaking Stubborn Circles
Did you ever try to analyze the reason the children of Israel under the leadership of Josua were told to walk silently in a circle seven times around Jericho?
Imagine walking around Jericho, silently, looking as if you dont know what you were doing
They didnt do the walk at night, they did it during the day
They did it once a day for seven days
The citizens of Jericho would stand on the wall and laugh at them, mock them, jeer at them, call them names, spit at them, boo them and throw stuff at them
They would stomach it, walk back to their tents like fools
Then they will repeat the process the following day, knowing they would have to experience the same humiliation over and over again
They had an end in mind, God already told Joshua what would happen at the end of the humiliating period
The seventh day must have been hell to stomach, going around in circles is a frustrating thing for the human mind
Many of us have experienced it at least in one season of our lifetime, some others have experienced it in almost every junction of their life in which they have to move forward in life while some are experiencing it now
Are you an experienced circle walker?
Usually, when we talk about walking in circles, we're referencing the metaphor that's not shared in a positive light. Instead, it usually refers to making little to no progress on some frustrating problem that we cannot solve no matter how hard we try.
Sometimes our minds go in circles, like the spinning of a computer icon. It always happens when your work is piling up, and you get stuck with the circle going round and round. You know the pain of this frozen loop in your mind makes it hard to find a new way to think about problems. We all know the pain of going around in circles.
But what we do when we're going around that circle makes the difference. When facing an unsolvable problem, we must realize that God alone can solve it, but He expects us to encompass that problem as He directs.
Many of you are in a predicament or facing a problem, and you need to ask yourself, "Am I facing this the way God would direct me, or is my mind needlessly spinning to solve the problem on my own?"
Joshua and the Israelites had an unsolvable problem. God told them to take Jericho, which is almost humorous. Jericho is on record as the oldest city in the world. Scripture says Jericho was tightly secured and was a significant obstacle with walls rising 30-40 feet high and 13 feet thick. The City of Jericho was designed to be militarily impenetrable with no natural way to besieged.
As if that wasn't daunting enough, the people behind the walls were equally as ferocious and barbaric. They were ruthless tyrants whose city had never been taken before. Only God can solve a problem of this scale.
We all face Jericho-like problems, and if you have a Jericho-sized problem, the Lord knows it. I want to remind you that you're a candidate for a Godlike miracle to solve that problem or predicament. Please have hope and joy in that fact. There is a solution; It's God's solution.
For the Israelites, the Lord's solution sounded strange. He told them to march around the city one time a day for six days and seven times on the seventh day. After that seventh march, they were to blow their shofars (a horn made from a ram’s horn).
Joshua and the Israelites were not problem-centered. They walked in circles the right way. It’s difficult, and much easier said than done, but we have to resist being problem-centred. We need to be God-centered. Don't get caught in the frustrations of your problem, if you do, you will find yourself walking in circles the wrong way.
If you go to God for a solution to a problem, he will tell you how to solve it
Some years ago I noticed a trend in the fellowship I was leading, testimonies came in after our meetings but those who shared the big testimonies were those invited by members to participate in the services.
Our members and ministers share some testimonies but they fade in comparison to the ones shared by attendees.
One of our pastors brought my attention to it, I was not really pleased with her for doing so at the time because it sounded as if she was accusing God of partiality or maybe she was accusing me of partiality.
Anyway, that was how it sounded, i went to God in prayer
The Lord said to organize a Praise Session, asking him for nothing, bringing no financial or material offering
Just to praise and sing worship songs to HIM
We organized the praise and worship session at a location in Surulere Lagos
Because we are an online fellowship, every time we meet, we must organize a venue and musical instruments and other things.
Members would travel down from far and near.
It is usually inconvenient for many but if we must break a cycle, we must do it as instructed by the Lord.
The worship service was glorious.
I remember getting home after the worship session and seeing gold dust all over my room.
What happened afterwards was a breakout of the ministry into the four corners of the world at a speed I cannot explain or account for
Our members began to do great things all over the world both for the Lord and in their personal lives.
We rode the waves of increase and strength to the extent that within a year, fifty-two other ministries broke out of our fellowship and our numbers did not diminish.
Imagine that!
Some of our ministers became so empowered by the Holy Spirit that they had to start off their own ministries based on their increase in capacity on every side
Many praise God and organize praise concerts unto God in gratitude and appreciation for all the wonderful things God has done
We do this too and we do this often but once in a while, the Lord will give an instruction way ahead of time in which he would as us as a fellowship to do something.
Imagine being told in February to dedicate the Month of November to His Praise and to organize a Danceathon!
A praise session that would involve a lot of dancing and jumping and shouting and singing without collecting any offering
Just offering ourselves and the fruits of our lips unto the Lord in praise
This is what we are doing on the 22nd of November
It is not an end-of-the-year praise jamboree, it is not a musical promotion of GSWMI minstrels and their albums, and it is not a copying of any other minister or ministry.
We do this only in obedience to God and His instructions.
Some said why don't you invite this minister or that minister because they are popular and can draw a crowd
Sometimes you have to repeat an instruction to some people many times before they get it
This is not a jamboree and the praise we are offering is not for your enjoyment
The motive of the Tehilla Praise is to offer Praises to God
It is not a party
It is an offering of praise
The minstrels are there like Asaph to offer the guidance of strings and lyre but the sounds are not for the pleasure of the flesh or our carnal desires
We will offer this praise in liberty and in total submission to the Leading of the Holy Spirit
PS: Brother Olaitan gave a prophecy a few days ago
It was an answered prayer to the yearnings of my heart towards the Tehilla Praise
I dislike making up a wish list for God
I prefer that God tell me what He wants to do and all I will then have to do is call them forth in the place of prayer
For the Tehilla Praise, just as it was for Joshua, I know what to expect after completing this circle
The word of God has established His intention and great is the company of those who published it
Glory be to God
Why Are Churches Growing and Businesses Dying in Africa?
I asked Bishop David Oyedepo this, amongst many other questions, in our one-on-one meeting last week.
His answer was, “ Information, My Son! I read 39 biographies about great ministers who went ahead and their ministry operations before we started The Living Faith; how many business founders read about those in their field who have gone ahead of them? For example, if someone wants to start a Real Estate Business, they need to study other successful Real Estate Companies and learn what to do and avoid. I studied other giants to know how to respond when people say nonsense about Me. It was easy to understand, for example, how to deal with Government as A Pastor because I studied those ahead of Me. I deal at arm’s length with the Government. A former CBN Governor Told Me, we research you and are shocked that not a Dime of Government Money is in your church “.
As I said, I spent one hour with Bishop, but I became ten years wiser after that encounter.
Many of us in Business and careers don’t have the required information to succeed in our fields and refuse to invest in them the same way many pastors did their own. I Am personally upset at the careless ways Christians take their business and careers and still wonder why the results are little. As Bishop will say, assumption is the mother of Frustration.
This year alone, I have invested over 100,000 USD in-formal self-development. How many of us have invested 10% of what we earn in information to deepen our knowledge in our field?
You can only rise to the depth of intelligence you operate with. Deepen your knowledge, and you will increase your results over time.
I encourage all who read this to create a knowledge investment budget in their field. That’s the only way to the top, guys.

Dubai has 22,000 mosques and counting
Egypt has a mosque per five minutes walk
Same with Qatar, Saudi Arabia and other Muslim countries
Where there are no mosques, Muslims find a suitable place to pray five times a day
During the Ramadan season, Muslims fast
Even their athletes have been known to enter international tournaments while fasting which is of concern to many
Sometimes whole tournaments are delayed because of this
Religion is not the reason some nations didn’t grow as expected
The nations mentioned above are growing and some have surpassed expectations with their advancement in science and technology
We should stop thinking in a pedestrian manner as Nigerians
Our problem has nothing to do with churches or the time Christian’s spend in worship
Hindus and Buddhists also spend time In their temples and they spend the time doing nothing related to economy or commercial activities
There is more to life than making money
To live a wholesome life requires that every individual spend time in faith regardless of what religion the person subscribes to
Even atheists spend time reflecting on their godless beliefs
Faith is a personal thing
I may spend a year in church praying and fasting for a personal reason while you may spend that same year working as a production manager or a the president of a nation and at the end of the year the quality of my life and my achievement would surpass yours be many miles!
Many so called Nigerian leaders or talking heads speak based on the assumptions that Nigerians would not critically examine what was said and its true reflections on their ability for deep introspection.
I am not criticizing any political leader with this writing, I am just wondering why Nigerians wouldn’t see through these provocative words that sincerely have nothing to do with our struggles as a nation.
The way the Christian prays as led by the spirit does not require a believer to be in church before his or her prayers are answered
We pray in the spirit!
Religious prayers may require one to go to church to pray but praying ceaselessly as commanded by Jesus requires us to pray at all times, even when we are at work or playing or relaxing
Being a spirit filled Christian removed every barrier and access to God permanently
Believers must pray or they will faint!
This is why this discussion is nothing but a talking point that really has nothing positive to offer
Pray, dear believers, please pray anywhere and everywhere
The psalmist informed us that prayer is the key by which we walk with God without faltering and it is true
Apostle Paul told us he prayed more than a certain church and it did not affect his productiveness
If we pray the right way, the issue of ceaseless vigils won’t be a topic for discussion because we wont be praying for religious purposes
Prayer will be for our edification and we will stir up the Holy Spirit of promise in us at all times without faltering in our productivity
We must pray ceaselessly everywhere we find ourselves and set courses right at all times

18] yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior. [19] The Sovereign Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights.

Red Flag
He remembered one of the popular sayings of his grandfather whenever they had the opportunity to talk about relationships and the tough reality a man or woman will face if he or she should find himself or herself entangled with the wrong kind of spouse.
His grandfather would often say
"If you die for her, it is never enough
If you cut off your head for him, he will say he didn't ask you to make such a sacrifice.
He or she will cheat on you just so he or she can make a point
Instead of love, he or she loathes you and instead of leaving you with dignity
He or she will stick around in your life just to ruin you
If he or she cheats on you, it is your fault
If you break up with him or her, he or she will turn it into a war
He or she does not love you but he or she would rather waste your life than let you move on to someone else in peace"
His babe brought her other boyfriend to her parent's house
He had suspected she was cheating on him but he had no evidence
He was away in school but he just had that gut feeling
So he returned home from school and told nobody
That very day, he dressed up and decided to check on her at home
When he got to her house, he saw her and her boyfriend
Her younger sisters and some friends were also there
The atmosphere became tense
He however didn't act as if he noticed the tension
He greeted everybody and told them he was just passing through on his way home from school
He walked away from there with dignity
Later that evening she came to check on him at home
He welcomed her without saying anything about what he saw
She asked him when he returned from school
He told her he suspected she was cheating and decided to come to her house to check her unannounced.
She said "And you got what you wanted, didn't you"
You knew or suspected I was cheating, that is not good enough for you
You must come and see
You must come and embarrass me in front of my friends and younger ones
Do you know how they are talking about me now or even thinking about me?
Do you think that is fair?
He didn't know how to reply to her.
She was insinuating that he was at fault for catching her with the other guy.
So he kept quiet
She was also quiet for a while
Then she said "I need you to understand why things went the way they did between us.
I don't like dating someone I cannot see often
I told you this before you went off to school
I know you must have someone you are dating in your school, I won't be the lady that will be dumped while waiting for one man to come and marry her.
Whenever you are here, I am here
When you are not here, I make plans to cope with your absence
Do you understand that?
He didn't say a word.
She told him she would like him to walk her home so that her parents could see that they were still together.
She does not want to have to tell them that she has been cheating on him
He was the one they knew as her man
The other guy was just a placeholder to keep her company when he was not around.
He shrugged and walked her home.
On the way, she held his hands and they smiled and laughed as if everything was fine.
He played the role she wanted him to play perfectly
When he got back home that night, he sat down and wept
She was his first love, the one he swore he would marry
He had never looked at another lady since they began to date
She was sufficient for him
It was however apparent that he was not enough for her
He had put all his eggs in a basket and somehow the whole lot had been thrown off a cliff
He decided he would not throw tantrums or cause a scene
He would open his heart again and find another lady who would see him as worthy of her love and stay with him
She came over the next day
They spent the whole day together
She expected him to blow hot and scream pepper
He was calm and ebullient
They spent the whole day watching movies and threading water
It was as if everything was back to normal
He however noticed that she was no longer hiding the other guy from him
The guy called her twice and she switched off her phone
He realised she hadn't told him the guy was gone and she had repented
She had somehow made it seem acceptable to him that she was dating the two of them
When she was leaving the next morning, she asked him to check in when he got to school
She said "I know you don't like calling all the time but maybe you should be calling sometimes so that someone else won't be doing all the calling and make you forget your babe"
He said he would call
Everything had changed but it seemed things stayed the same
She was the love of his life
It is true that when he gained admission to the University in another state, she told him she most likely wouldn't be able to cope with his absence.
She told him she was not the kind of girl who pines for a guy or hugs her pillow while thinking of her boyfriend.
He is either present or he is not real.
He assured her at the time that he would do everything in his power to make sure she did not feel his absence.
He made promises he couldn't keep
What he envisaged while going off to school was not the reality he met on the ground
Things were very tough. financially
He was on a scholarship and he was expected to deliver on a CGPA of 4.5 and above in order to keep the school fees coming.
He was studying a very sensitive course and A United States Agency was very much interested in recruiting him if he proved to be as prodigious as they hoped.
It was either he worried about love and lost out on the promising future that he had worked hard to secure for himself all his life.
He didn't totally abandon her, he spent every minute of every break with her.
She knew the plan and that he had his eyes exclusively on making the cut to get recruited.
They were both from a very poor background.
He was an orphan, raised by his mother's elder brother
He met her the very day his uncle relocated from Lagos to Ibadan
He had no option but to move with him
He met her two days later by the public well where they all fetched water
He had great plans for her but he could see she had no plan for him
He graduated and got posted for NYSC
They didn't break up
To her, they now have an understanding
He called her when he could and she did the same
They met as often as they could and spent many wonderful moments together
She came to visit him while he was serving in Oshogbo, and she spent almost a month with him
She was still seeing the other guy or maybe several other guys
He never asked her about it
She had made it clear that she was a certain kind of girl and he had redefined his expectations accordingly.
By this time, he had been offered an American visa based on his exceptional talent and he had the right to bring family members with him.
She came to visit him and saw the documents.
She asked him why he hadn't told her about it
That had always been the plan
It was a long shot
When he was contacted by the American Agency after solving a global coding puzzle in three minutes
She was the first person he shared the good news with
She should have been the first person he would share the news with when they got to the stage of filling the travel forms for spouse and other dependants
He didn't say a word
She pressed him
What is the issue?
Did I do anything wrong?
This was our dream and God has done it?
Why are you quiet?
Say something?
He ignored her
She left his house immediately when she sensed that he was not forthcoming
That evening, her parents called him
She had told them he would be travelling but he was acting weird towards her.
His uncle also called
She was his only friend and girlfriend of over ten years
She was all they knew and they already treated the two of them as a couple
He tried explaining on the phone but his uncle wouldn't have it
His uncle kept saying he has a good name and a good reputation and will not be dragged in the mud by any form of scandal
They all live in the same estate and to his uncle, the optics were funny
He told her parents he would be coming home soon and when he came things would be resolved
It was supposed to be a straightforward conversation
"I met her and liked her
She liked me too and we decided to date
Along the line, she started seeing other guys
I do not want to be married to a lady that cannot be faithful to me
So I don't want to marry her anymore and as a result of this she will not be travelling with me to the USA"
When he got home he realised she had done the groundwork
She had told her parents and his uncle a story
In the story, she made a mistake somewhere along the line while they were dating and they resolved it.
He was now trying to capitalize on that same mistake to punish her and break his promise to her.
Her parents started by apologising
They said she had told them everything and they had chastized her
They said she was only being childish and she had been disciplined
They appealed to him to forgive and forget the whole issue
His uncle was in the same train
It had been decided before he even spoke a word
It was a gangster's move in which he found himself checkmated by sentiments.
He was impressed but she made one mistake.
She assumed she could dictate to her what he must do and outplay him to accept her version of the truth as his reality.
He told everybody he was okay with their decisions
She was made to kneel down and apologise to him before them
Everybody laughed and left the two love birds to patch things up
He didn't discuss the issue with her
The next morning, she left his room early without telling him where she was going.
At around noon, she returned with a truck full of household materials
A TV, A DVD player, a standing fan, a ceiling fan, a rug, a fridge, a blender, kitchen wares, a radio, a box of clothes, books, a standing mirror, an iron an ironing board, and so on
She went to break up with the other guy and she packed her load from their "flat" to his house
He had no clue that she had another life entirely planned out outside of him until that moment
Even though he was unconvinced by the stunt she pulled the previous day, the moment he saw all the stuff she brought, he realised he could never be happy being married to her
She had chosen him simply because he was moving to the USA
If he had not been successful in that regard, she would have moved on with the other guy
She told him she did it so that he could see that she had closed that chapter of her life forever
He nodded and smiled
A month later, his visa was ready
Two weeks after collecting the visa
He told her he was going to the embassy to sort out some things
He hopped on a plane to the USA without saying goodbye!
He says he had no regrets whatsoever walking away from the relationship.
He found her to be too manipulative and untrustworthy
He said he met another lady in church after a year in the USA
The lady had the right mentality and they had a unique understanding of each other
He got married to her
As for the lady he left behind, he said she moved on a week after he left Nigeria.
He never bothered to find out who she got married to or any other thing about her life
All he knew was that she was alive and well.
PS: “A society in which conjugal infidelity is tolerated must always be in the long run a society adverse to women. Women, whatever a few male songs and satires may say to the contrary, are more naturally monogamous than men; it is a biological necessity. Where promiscuity prevails, women will therefore always be more often the victims than the culprits. Also, domestic happiness is more necessary to them than to men. And the quality by which they most easily hold a man, their beauty, decreases every year after they have come to maturity, but this does not happen to those qualities of personality —women don’t really care two cents about our looks—by which we hold women. Thus in the ruthless war of promiscuity women are at a double disadvantage. They play for higher stakes and are also more likely to lose. I have no sympathy with moralists who frown at the increasing crudity of female provocativeness. These signs of desperate competition fill me with pity.”
― C.S. Lewis, God in the Dock: Essays on Theology and Ethics
There are times we find ourselves in a relationship which we had high hopes for but simply turned out to be a mistake.
The guy knows it
The lady knows it
The wise thing to do is to part ways immediately and not waste each other's time.
If the guy says "Let us part ways"
The lady says "You are giving up too easily, fight for us, we can make this work"
If the lady says "Let us part ways"
The guy says "You were never committed to this in the first place, you used me"
They both know the truth and yet they play the victim card
The worst is when either says "People don't walk out on me in relationships, I walk out on them!
People don't break up with me, I break up with them!
Some are so childish that they will do everything to make up and then break up with the other person just for bragging rights.
You may not be responsible for the way the other person behaves
but you are responsible for your own behaviour
Always remember this!

I wrote this thread in 2001
Just a few minutes ago, I met Tope Alabi by chance at Sheraton Hotel
I immediately redeemed my pledge
It is important to honour those the Lord has raised as channels of blessings to the saints in Light
Those who will rise will be careful not to belittle those who have risen
The toxic mindset most people on Twitter and other social media had become known for which is to “press necks” “choke” “drag people like tiger generator” “belittle” “castigate” “insult” and denigrate people who God has honored is not a blessing to the body of Christ
Some assume that it is easy to set up and become a voice of inspiration to several generations consistently for over twenty to thirty years!
I have seen more would be ministers of the gospel crash and burn out after a year or two than those who made something of their calling like Tope Alabi had done!
She is a blessing.
If your voice would ring and be heard all over the world
You will honour those whose voices are being heard in almost all the continents of the world
A nobody on twitter who intends to become somebody in life does not start out by trashing somebody who has earned her stripes in life
Those who insulted her three years ago are still anonymous
Tope still shines globally as ordained by God
Honour is the lifestyle of Grace!

I met a widow once, who got pregnant three months after her husband died.
The church threw her out. I met her on the road while I was driving, she was walking and weeping as if tomorrow had come.
I parked the car and ran after her. I asked her what happened. She said her husband died at the age of 40, she was 35. She was still in mourning but had to resume work three months later.
She was a bank cashier and a customer came in and smiled at her. She smiled back. He asked if he could come and pick her up after work. She said yes. She gave him her number. He showed up and she followed him to a restaurant for a meal and afterward something else happened.
The man was married and he did not lie about it. She was a widow and she was dealing with her pain by escaping into an illusion.
She knew she would regret it but she discovered heartbreak is better than mourning the death of a loved one.
She discovered that she was pregnant three months later. She and her late husband couldn't make babies and here she was with a pregnancy for a married man who could not marry her.
She continued going to church until the pastor noticed she was pregnant and summoned her to the office to ask her the tough questions. She answered truthfully and he called her a whore.
He told her never to come to the church again as her kind are only bad influences.
I said I am a Pastor.
God loves you and I love you too. I drove her home and bought her everything she needed for the baby. When she delivered the baby, I named the baby. The baby is nine years old now.
Encounter God in Prayer…
Not Abandoned
God, I will praise you in the midst of brokenness. When everyone—friends, family, and even my leaders—abandons me, I will look to you. My life is an open book; you know I’ve done nothing to deserve this.
