1) Phone call last Friday afternoon from secretary to chief gastro surgeon asking if I can make an appointment in three days (i.e., today, Monday).
Today said surgeon shows me the photos from endoscopy. Not a pretty site.

Endoscopy a fortnight ago. The surgeon who conducted it said everything looked OK. He took several biopsies, results in 4-6 weeks. Yesterday had a phone call from the hospital, the chief in gastroenterology wants to see me Monday. Mild panic now.

Just landed in Heathrow Airport T3. Went into M&S. Three M&S staff speaking in another language.

I asked them “What language are you speaking?”

They responded “Flobba-dobba-dobba”

I have a photograph & their names to report to M&S.

We must confront them every time.

80 years ago today Clement Attlee became PM, he founded the NHS and built record numbers of homes.
