Hey everyone,
This is a question I long wanted to ask.
When you first heard of the October 7 attacks, what were your first thoughts?
I would appreciate candid answers.
@discordspies holy shit, *intellectually* disabled. It’s amazing how white autists magically lose their famous allegiance to pedantry when debating women and people of color!
@MakeUsDance@funtasticluva@hehe87473974 the reason u keep getting confused is cause u can’t or refuse to follow the point I was making about benefits. Right before that tweet u were responding to me w/ “male socialization is deluding men about the benefits of sexualization”. i’m sayin he truly benefits, no brainwashing
@MakeUsDance@funtasticluva@hehe87473974 you gotta admit tho this is not a coherent thought. like read that second sentence and tell me it makes sense. it’s more than punctuation, this is a grammatical error
@MakeUsDance@funtasticluva@hehe87473974 I specifically said he wasn’t brainwashed: “Hard to call him brainwashed”. I am struggling to read your writing because you don’t use punctuation correctly. You are struggling to read my writing because you have poor reading comprehension. I think it’s best we stop communicating
@MakeUsDance@funtasticluva@hehe87473974 More accurately we were talking about the intersection of gender and skin color. You took the color part out by making it a ‘sexy actress’ (which is fine). But it’s perfectly relevant for me to bring in the intersection of class there. all axes of oppression function similarly
@MakeUsDance@funtasticluva@hehe87473974 are you saying that those women don’t have any benefits over regular working class women who have to deal with constant sexual assault in their lives anyway?
@MakeUsDance@funtasticluva@hehe87473974 you are the one taking this conversation to a weird place, don’t put that on me lmao. my only point is that although it’s dehumanizing, there are material benefits to sexualization. i think claiming otherwise is a misread of the situation
@MakeUsDance@funtasticluva@hehe87473974 I agree its dehumanizing but terry crews is also a prime example of some1 benefiting from the sexualization of blk men. A lot of his biggest roles have been dominant/masculine men or purposefully subverting that trope for laughs. Hard to call him brainwashed when it made him rich
@funtasticluva@hehe87473974 i never said it was ‘beneficial’ as a whole. obviously its overall a net negative thing. but there ARE benefits. desirability is currency in our society
@funtasticluva@hehe87473974 this is the third comment in a row you’ve just repeated the dictionary definition of colorism without responding to any of the claims posed at you. whats the point of responding if you are just going to repeat yourself without thinking? are you a bot? or slow?
