Today we celebrate Trans Day of Visibility, let us be clear; our faith unequivocally, fiercely, and unapologetically affirms that trans people are divine and a beloved part of human family.
Happy Transgender Day of Visibility! Today and every day, we join our transgender community in love and solidarity. Let's amplify their voices, celebrate their identities, and work towards a world where all people are affirmed for who they are. https://t.co/A14caqRX5r
I deeply love the transgender, non-binary, and agender people I am privileged to have in my life. I celebrate the beauty of everyone living these identities. I give thanks for all the lessons that others following their truth so faithfully have taught me about following my own.
With gratitude for the ceaseless flow of endless time, which has led me to this place and this moment, I renounce whatsoever of the past diminishes me, or anything else that lives. (1/2)
There is so much to mourn; lost lives, lost dreams, lost opportunities. So many and so much that we can never get back. The world is so broken, and breaking still. Yet, there is so much to give thanks for, too. And in our gratitude we find the possibility of a better world.
We are still processing the mass murder at Club Q in Colorado Springs overnight even as we commemorate all the trans beloveds whose lives have been stolen on this #TransDayOfRemembrance. Rev. Ashley Horan has penned this Queer Prayer:

"Here you are.
Here, in this holy space,
on this ground that is holy
because you are here."

Today and every other day: there are so many tools for us to engage. To organize, to build relationship and foster collective care, to mobilize in digital spaces and in the streets, and to imagine a future that the system cannot conceive of and will never yield without a demand.
Yesterday: a vote is a tool; even in a deeply flawed system it can often still be put to some use. It is worth using every tool available because the stakes are so high, we should leave nothing on the table.
Rev. Kelly Crocker kicks off our month of contemplating change & its role in our lives with this weekend’s service “Change is Good, You Go First.” Newcomers are always welcome! More info on our website https://t.co/bPFeGo5NDg.
This weekend at FUS, we remember those lives which, though ended, continue to shape our own. They are the stories to which our own stories serve as sequels. Join us in person or online: https://t.co/bPFeGo5NDg
