PLAY OF THE TOURNAMENT 🏟️🔥
7U 🇮🇹 Jannik Sinner 2-0 + 🇫🇷 Arthur Fils +1.5 sets (1.77)
Quarter finals day and this is a big spot⚡️
Starting with 🇮🇹Sinner vs 🇪🇸Jodar.
I’ve backed Jodar a few times recently but this is where it ends. There’s levels to this and Sinner is world number one for a reason. The numbers back it up as well with Sinner only facing 2 break points compared to Jodar’s 19 and landing 65 percent of first serves versus 57 percent. That shows the control and pressure difference straight away. Now you add in centre court under the lights in a quarter final and that’s where the experience really kicks in. Sinner is built for these moments and I don’t see Jodar handling that level yet.
Then we have 🇫🇷Fils vs 🇨🇿Lehecka.
These two have played recently but this is more about the surface. On clay Fils just has the edge for me. He gets more time to open up on that forehand and when he’s dictating he’s tough to stop. He’s also coming in with momentum winning his last 8 matches. Lehecka has served well this week but in longer rallies and return games Fils should come out on top. He doesn’t even need to win the match here just take a set and with his power and form that looks very likely.
