@Churchboooy @_pistism@Chinonso_Iyi@ChuksEricE I can but properly teaching you would require building a foundation for you that you don't have from scratch first of all. I'm leaving soon and it's tedious even if i wasn't, you'll find your way eventually as long as you seek to know God. If i can't then ill say i cant.
@Churchboooy @_pistism@Chinonso_Iyi@ChuksEricE Grow more by learning more about God, if you have any questions I'm not always active on twitter but ill try to answer the one's I can.
@Churchboooy @_pistism@Chinonso_Iyi@ChuksEricE The verse that's paraphrased to mean Jesus is the Son of God? That meaning that is basically common knowledge and repeated by Jesus over and over?
check Titus 2:13.
@Churchboooy @_pistism@Chinonso_Iyi@ChuksEricE lol I don't mean to be rude but i don't think you're fit to have this debate yet. I think you should study more and strive to know God better
@Churchboooy @_pistism@Chinonso_Iyi@ChuksEricE "1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made... 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.."
The text is clear
@Churchboooy @_pistism@Chinonso_Iyi@ChuksEricE St Augustine, Martin Luther etc and 2 millennia of christian tradition and christian scholarship all attest to Jesus being God and with well document evidence if you need help with it. Dont fall in line but search and think deeply about it. I hope God opens your eyes bro
@Churchboooy @_pistism@Chinonso_Iyi@ChuksEricE You seem to be stubborn about this and wont listen to reason even if i do decide to go in detail so ill just leave you with this thought; In the history of christianity and the church from the apostles who knew Jesus down to all the pioneers and fathers like Thomas Aquinas 1/2
@Churchboooy @_pistism@Chinonso_Iyi@ChuksEricE the beginning is the beginning, look back at my tweet and you'd see i put 'time' in quotes to prevent any possible confusions.
The text very clearly shows God aka the Word aka Jesus created EVERYTHING (through him) so your second paragraph is obviously wrong
@Churchboooy @_pistism@Chinonso_Iyi@ChuksEricE - In the beginning was the Word (Jesus): not created and existed at the dawn of 'time'
- Word was with God (Father): both existing at the dawn of 'time'
- The word was God: self explanatory
v3
- Through Him all things were made, without him nothing was made.
@_pistism @Churchboooy @Chinonso_Iyi@ChuksEricE I completely agree with you about Jesus being God I'm only correcting the modalism heresy of the water example. Since no example can explain the trinity adequately i find it's best not to use any.
@Churchboooy @_pistism@Chinonso_Iyi@ChuksEricE "1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made."
@_pistism @Churchboooy @Chinonso_Iyi@ChuksEricE I get where you're coming from but even this water analogy is wrong. But yes Jesus is God and is the Fathers co-equal
