I have really struggled through the Covid period and am torn between deep sadness for the loss of life and suffering and recognising that online teaching, learning and assessment has developed at a greater pace than it otherwise would have done. We must build on this
Future FE Pedagogies (Vol 1, Autumn 2021) will be published on the @E_T_Foundation website next week (with thanks to @vikkiliogier & @DavidRussellETF)
Many thanks to @future_FE for asking me to join the team. The ethos of this open source publication is fresh, inclusive + an altogether exciting addition to the FE tapestry!
Let’s amplify voices + celebrate the perseverance + resilience of practitioners this past year 💪🏻🤓
I’m at the business end of editing my piece on #FEITE in a digital world for @future_FE. Getting very close to the word count now. A little bit of pre-submission peer review next - I learned this trick from @CoffieldFrank. #FutureFEpedagogies
We are compiling a list of high quality online #TechnologyEnhancedLearning resources and a list of key #EdTech focused Twitter accounts to be included in the journal. Please comment/DM if you would like to be included or if you would like to nominate someone

#FutureFEPedagogies is an online, open source ‘journal’ co-edited by @BobHarrisonEdu , Joel Petrie( @Post16Educator) and @TeachAnshi
The publication aims to provide for the FE sector a series of nuanced analyses of the potentialities and challenges of TEL for our practice
#EdTech
Let’s clear this up ..Nobody has ever suggested it is online OR face to face learning, Only polemicists suggest it is Teachers OR Technology most open minded education peeps realised long ago it is Teachers and Learners PLUS technology for improved learning and assessment
@future_FE My piece in @TESFE Has Covid19 created an opportunity to reflect on how we design, deliver, support, assess, inspect teaching, learning and assessment in further and adult education ? https://t.co/55UQI9kzOM
#edtech The FE sector has resources that need to be reinvested in digital infrastructure says @BobHarrisonEdu. "The remote working, online/blended/virtual learning and assessment genie is well and truly out of the bottle. I am not sure it will go back in."
