@moneyacademyKE Assembling a strategically integrated concern. All, get informed and think creatively. Under it all, GoK has the option to likely acquire up to 20%. Take the (once in a lifetime) win! Most “commentors” seem determined to snatch defeat out if the jaws of victory
@ChrisWheatley They (and Arsenal’s naivety played a role) completely disrupted and wrong-tracked Arsenal’s recruiting season knowing all along they weren’t really interested. But poor showing all around from Arsenal on its recruiting strategy
@SuunaKing_James Your reading comprehension is quite poor and your reasoning limited to be dangerous. Does the letter mention Sgt Maj. Robert Kabera, was he a youtuber?
@citizentvkenya Kenya is messing w/ its future at one of the most crucial times in world history. Bad governance is not only waste and corruption; it’s ALSO negligence in putting in the effort to really studying and analyzing situations. Don’t let the perfect be the enemy of the GOOD
Congratulatory Note On the Launch of Africa Credit Rating Agency
On behalf of the Government and people of the Republic of Kenya, and on my own behalf, I convey our warmest congratulations to the African Union on the historic launch of the Africa Credit Rating Agency (AfCRA) in Port Louis, Republic of Mauritius.
As the African Union Champion for Institutional Reform, I regard this achievement as a powerful expression of our shared determination to build an AU that is strong, effective and fit for purpose, and to advance Agenda 2063 through institutions that translate continental ambition into tangible results.
I also commend the African Peer Review Mechanism and its partners for their leadership in bringing this important reform initiative to fruition.
I have consistently championed the reform of the global financial architecture, fair and credible assessment of African risk, and the establishment of AfCRA as an African-led institution capable of reflecting the continent’s true economic realities and potential.
Its launch affirms a wider continental aspiration: Africa must shape its own narrative, strengthen its financial sovereignty and mobilise capital for development on fairer terms. This achievement now calls for collective political ownership.
African leaders must place their full weight behind AfCRA’s success while safeguarding its independence, professionalism and methodological integrity.
In this spirit, Kenya is pleased to welcome AfCRA and to commence discussions on Nairobi serving as a secondary jurisdiction for the agency, as well as on Kenya becoming a sovereign client of this important continental institution.
Through this commitment, Kenya seeks to demonstrate the practical leadership, confidence and solidarity required to transform Africa’s collective aspirations into durable institutions.
At a moment when global markets are being reshaped by geopolitical competition, volatile capital flows, the energy transition and artificial intelligence, Africa must have trusted institutions capable of interpreting these shifts through the prism of its own realities and development priorities.
AfCRA is thus more than a new institution; it is a strategic instrument for strengthening investor confidence, widening Africa’s policy space and ensuring that the continent participates in the emerging global financial order with greater agency, unity and influence.
This video has changed the way I answer questions and even how I approach things.
H.E. Paul Kagame is more than just a President. He is a mentor and a good man. I just pray to God to give him a long life as we continue to work together and learn from his wisdom.
@Ayieko__ Or policy that acknowledges the development profile of the economy with the smarter (wiser, LESS RISKY, though more boring) tactic of… “any savings from eradicating wise, fraud, and abuse will go directly paying down the debt”.
Lmao, this isn't the flex some of you guys think it is. Business Daily usually runs these kinds of stories a year before election.
Uhuru constructed 1,950 km of roads by the end of his first term. Ruto has constructed 1,800 km of roads to bitumen standards in his first 2.5 yrs
@_KemuntoM So ~2200 in first 6 years compared to ~2600 in first 4 years under Ruto (imagine it’s taking time to get your administration settled and running)
@ntvkenya These replies seem intentionally illogical.
Here, an OVERLY simplified analogy…you have a fleet of trucks, but no funds for or way of getting gas. A strategic decision - sell one of the trucks to power the fleet. Kenya’s human resource and industrial potential are the ‘trucks’
@moneyacademyKE Almost got into bond sales but certainly no expert (and leaving aside the way the tweet was worded) — # of reasons a govt would buy (back) its bonds…BUT note, it’s participating in the mrkt with OTHER investors. And uses those receipts for its purposes https://t.co/H2LYkcR7Fw
@moneyacademyKE Borrow money from the infrastructure fund meant for infrastructure to buy infrastructure bonds to build infrastructure and get interest to build infrastructure.
@hnnsbnd@ntvkenya What garbage ai nonsense are you spreading with your limited analysis and cheap conclusions. If you’re going to speak loudly with such inflammatory language, as a ‘visitor’ have decency to be constructive rather than fuel to fire. But perhaps your aim IS to cause trouble
Dangote’s Kenya bet is bigger than capital. It is a test of trust. Trust in African markets. Trust in our institutions. Trust that African capital can cross borders and build African industry.
Africa investing in Africa.

@pkmwiandi …and expects to invest $50 billion by 2030. It’s a regional industrial growth project, so gov’t(s) participation makes sense here. Dangote is a singularity accomplished African business person…and he’s investing his ability in the region’s future.

@pkmwiandi And, a private project. Gov’t has the option, but not the obligation, to invest. Would obviously be smart to acquire ownership and participate in the profits…funny enough capitalists don’t traditionally like to share.
Fyi, Dangote has better credit rating than Nigeria & Kenya

These children give me so much hope for Africa! 🥹
This is @tiossanacademy, the school I founded in Meckhé, a small town in Senegal.
Our younger children learn by exploring and making things with their hands, using a Montessori-inspired approach that gives them room to follow their curiosity.
The teenagers learn through Socratic dialogue. They discuss ideas and question each other, learning to explain why they believe something instead of simply repeating an answer.
They also learn AI, coding, digital marketing, etc.
We have had teens start making money with their new skills within just a few weeks!
I am so proud of these kids.
Seeing them discover what they can do is one of the most rewarding parts of our work, and I would love for more children to have the chance to learn this way! ❤️
