God made him die during the course of a hundred years and then He revived him and said: "How long have you been here?"
"A day, or part of a day," he replied.
@innyrkimillyrck@fruitsnacks42 there's a difference between your personal reaction to a book/other media and a valid critique towards the actual content. I think it's important to make that distinction because how we engage with media matters
@innyrkimillyrck@fruitsnacks42 because "boring" has nothing to do with the content of what you're engaging with, it's just how you felt watching it. instead of boring you can say that the characters are one-dimensional, the pacing is off, etc.
@innyrkimillyrck@fruitsnacks42 I didn't say I've never read a boring book, I said that I think when most people say a book is boring it's because they have short attention spans. I don't think you can criticize a book for being "boring" because it's not a critical argument.
