It is outrageous to produce any framework that dictates what I do outside my working hours. Ofsted simply can not inspect what we do voluntarily in our unpaid free time neither can the DfE direct us. This needs challenging robustly!

I want to revamp our performance management/appraisal procedures. Ideally I'd like to make it a one page reference page that is more about developing themselves.
Is anyone using anything that they recommend?
I’ve had 3 days off work with no one emailing me every few minutes and I’ve written more new stand up in that time than in the previous 3 months. Admin is the enemy of creativity.

@Mr_AlmondED @Kieran_M_Ed It's no stress mate don't want to create work for anyone!! I've got a good starting point and some things to work on thanks to the pod👌
Behaviour in schools is the single biggest barrier to learning. A few years back @ianwhite21 produced an excellent thread on reframing positive behaviour with 20 ways to help manage behaviour in the classroom. I did 4 one pagers to highlight how good these methodologies are. They are available for download from my shared drive.
Next year a key focus for us is stripping back the curriculum. @MaryMyatt made a good point about topics like Roman Numerals not been needed in any follow on learning.
My question is, what else have people stripped back on?
Take it in. The first female chancellor. The first housing secretary who's actually lived in social housing. The first education secretary who was on free school meals. An energy secretary who actually believes in aggressively fighting climate change. Not a bad afternoon.
When looking at curriculum coverage for a year group, what % of those statements are you expecting children to understand in order to be 'secure' / 'expected'?
