@kevinservi22498 @RussoHockey No he wasn't. He went undrafted and signed out of college in 2022 with Boston. He then signed with Florida last summer and was claimed off waivers by Carolina in October. He's never played for a Minnesota based or Wild affiliated team.

With $1,237,954 in projected cap space, that means $33,955,063 in contracts could be added to the roster and still leave us cap compliant at the end of the season.

That means players under contract and drafted prospects whose rights the team owns. Since Viking was not on the Wild's reserve list as of the deadline, he's not playoff eligible.
