I illustrated this quote from @KellerRinaudo seeing it as a perfect 2024 snapshot of accelerating change, rapid adaptability, and our overall expectations of the future. But I think it runs deeper. This 8-day pivot from 'wow!’ to 'whatever’ he's noticed also reflects that we're game for those new/bold/risky ideas we’ll need to tackle the [wicked problems, existential risks, polycrisis] at our doorstep.

Even more, a faster marvel-to-mundane curve might just be the underpinning of a new societal resilience—an unconscious rehearsal for the rapid, substantive shifts we’ll need to embrace as global challenges demand swift and decisive action.
