What are we doing? Why are we here?
Four weeks ago I asked the Senate those two simple questions.
Tonight, we delivered the answer.
The first significant gun safety bill in 30 years just passed the United States Senate. 65-33.
I’m exhausted. And grateful.
Roe v Wade guarantees the fundamental right for all women to make personal health care decisions. It is also basis of so many other opinions, and this will remove protections that generations have fought for. (1/2)
I believe that a woman’s right to choose is fundamental. Roe has been the law of the land for almost fifty years, and basic fairness and the stability of our law demand that it not be overturned.
We will be ready when any ruling is issued.
We used to “correct” kids who were left-handed - through violence, shame or “guidance” on how to be right handed. And so there seemed to be very few left handers. Then we stopped, & with no shaming there was a seemingly rapid rise. Then a plateau. This is a tweet about trans kids
