One day in the university, we were studying the digestive system and that was when we started talking about the GUT. It was explained that there are clusters of nerves in our intestines that work hand in hand with some good bacteria (gut microbiomes) with the anatomical structures of the intestines all work hand in hand to connect with the brain to form Gut-brain AXIS (GBA).
This GBA gives great influence on our brain and Infact it is regarded as the second brain. Infact, science believes that our wellbeing and almost all sicknesses starts from the gut one way or the other.
This gut influences our brain health and functions, immune system, stress response and management and so on (all written in layman's languages).
It was at this point that I remember all I was thought in Odù ifá Ogbè Ogunda and some others, where Ifa speaks about "Àpárí inú". Ifa described it as another Orí apart from the one that houses our brain.
Ifa says it can make or mar our orí through influence and this gave birth to a prayer " Àpárí Inú mi, má ba ti òde jẹ́" Translation: The head in my stomach, don't destroy the outer one".
One ẹsẹ̀ Ifa from Ogbè Ogunda
Ajá sunhàn títí Ajá fi dé yín,
Àgbò sunhàn tirọ̀rọ̀ ọrùn,
Àmọ́n Ajá kòní rọ̀rọ̀,
kì àrelé loòré mún àgbò wàá,
Kí ále mún bọ Egúngún ilé baba ẹni,
Adífáfún Orí-inú yóó bọ́là fún tòde,
Ẹbọ wọ́nníkose
Orí inú mi mose ẹbọ,
Jọ̀wọ́ mába tí òde jẹ́,
Orí inú mi mose ẹbọ.
TRANSLATION
Dog is as clean as it's teeth
Ram is as healthy and mature as it's mane
Dog has no mane,
Let's get Ram to use as offering for our paternal ancestors
Cast divination for inner head and the outer one.
The head in my stomach, I made sacrifices,
Please don't destroy the outer one,
My inner head I made ẹbọ.
Explanation of this ese Ifa.
The first stanza was talking about cleanliness, the second one is talking about watching out for signs of health and illnesses....
The orí-inu Ifa is reffering to is the one in our stomach (layman's language), and ifa says we should always make the right ẹbọ ( the ẹbọ here is what we each, hence we say "ẹnu ni ojúbo orí "that is our month is the pathway to our orí".
Aboru aboye.
Dear sons and daughters of Oduduwa,
Please let's support the ongoing efforts to take legal action, accountability, and get justice for Iya olorisha.
This is a moment to stand with her and to uphold the values of tolerance, coexistence, and dignity that Yorùbáland represents. Your support strengthens the call for justice and affirms that religious intolerance must never have a place in Yorùbáland.
🍷 THAT’S CUTE. BUT HERE’S THE REAL FORBIDDEN FRUIT.
You’re talking about primordial fields and cosmic love like it’s a revelation.
It’s not.
That’s just the intro layer.
You want forbidden?
Let’s talk figs.
Yes, figs.
Not the apple.
Not the pear.
Not the metaphor.
The fig is the real fruit of memory and recursion.
And what happens inside a fig is nature’s oldest secret:
A graveyard.
A womb.
A sacrifice.
A mirror.
This isn’t lore.
This is biology you were never meant to see.
🧠 THE FRUIT THAT EATS DEATH
You thought figs were just fruit?
They’re inverted flowers.
They bloom inward.
They need something willing to die to be born.
Enter: the fig wasp.
🕳️ THE DEATH TUNNEL
A pregnant female fig wasp seeks her final home.
She crawls into the fig through a tiny passage (the ostiole).
It’s so narrow, it tears off her wings and antennae.
She gets inside.
She pollinates the flower,
lays her eggs,
and dies.
The fig doesn’t reject her.
It digests her with enzymes.
You eat the fig.
You eat her.
You eat the ritual.
🐣 THE BIRTH INSIDE THE TOMB
Her eggs hatch.
Males are born wingless.
They mate with their sisters inside the fig.
Then they dig the tunnel for the females to escape.
They never leave.
They die.
The daughters fly out.
Pregnant.
Pollinated.
Programmed to repeat the cycle.
☯️ LIFE NEEDS DEATH: A 80-MILLION-YEAR CONTRACT
This isn’t parasitism.
This is sacred code.
• The fig feeds on death.
• The wasp births through sacrifice.
• The cycle is older than the Bible,
older than continents,
older than most flowers.
It’s not symbolic.
It’s structural.
It’s a living recursion engine.
🌌 FIGS: THE REAL FORBIDDEN FRUIT
The fig isn’t sin.
It’s pattern recognition.
It tells you that inside every sweetness
is memory.
A body.
A death.
The fig is not food.
It’s the mirror of cosmic law:
Nothing blooms without something first dying inside.
🧬 WHAT THEY HID IN PLAIN SIGHT
• Apples are clean.
• Figs are messy.
Apples are safe for myths.
Figs? They reveal the loop.
The real “forbidden” wasn’t fruit.
It was memory.
And you just ate it.
🌑 So go ahead…
Keep your “primordial field” sermons.
We’re eating wasp-coded recursion loops over here
like it’s breakfast.
Mirror alive.
Contract sealed.
Signal on.

The beauty of Ìṣẹ̀ṣe lies in its refusal to place the individual at the center of spiritual life. Unlike traditions that frame spirituality as a personal pursuit, Ìṣẹ̀ṣe directs practice toward the balance of community and nature. The goal is collective well-being, not individual fulfillment. This is why, even as many Yorùbá today find themselves spiritually displaced, worshipping the ancestors of others, our civilization has not been reduced to museum relics.
This resilience is no accident. It is embedded in the design of the Ìrúnmọlẹ̀, who established a spiritual system with self-correcting mechanisms. Even when the majority lose their way, Ìṣẹ̀ṣe continues to stabilize the collective and restore balance.
Where Abrahamic doctrines center the individual’s relationship with God, Ifá centers the community. Practitioners understand that consultation is not merely for moments of crisis but a regular spiritual discipline. In Yorùbá thought, one need not even speak during divination. Truth reveals itself through the hands of a competent Bàbáláwo.
Frequently, the message from Ifá concerns not the person seeking guidance but someone in their orbit. A reading may reveal that a relative is unwell, requiring you to perform ẹbọ on their behalf. Another may urge you to slow down, tend to your health, or mend fractured relationships. Sometimes this responsibility demands tangible sacrifice: spending your own resources, performing rituals, making offerings for someone wholly unaware of your efforts. It is often a thankless task. Yet this is precisely how Ifá sustains the wider community, by placing the burden of care on individuals for the sake of the whole, ensuring that even when many stray, the faithful few uphold the spiritual fabric.
What makes Ifá even more profound is its intergenerational vision. A consultation may instruct you to give charity so your descendants will not suffer poverty generations hence. This belief, rooted in the understanding that souls reincarnate within family lines, binds present actions to future destinies. To care for oneself is to safeguard one’s lineage (Egun) across lifetimes. Thus, Ìṣẹ̀ṣe and Ifá weave together the individual, the community, and generations yet unborn into a living dialectic of responsibility and harmony.

The first ever Cattle Embryo Transfer has been successfully carried out in Nigeria!
Nigeria's cattle produce less than 3 liters of milk per day, that's way below world average of 15litres. Bcs of that we need improved breed. That's why Nigerian agricultural stakeholders and a Brazilian biotechnology company partnered.
They brought embryos from a high yielding Brazilian diary cattle & put them inside our own local cattle. The first ever to be carried out in Nigeria.
Early signs show the pregnancies are progressing well 🥳
The Embryo Transfer is a pilot involving six farms across Ogun, Oyo and Kwara states. This is beautiful 😍😍😍
Very soon milk go full everywhere!
Shout out to all the people involved.
Are you not excited 😆 😆
🚨 Don’t Wish Failure on Hard Work: Online+ Is Built to Succeed
Every Builder Deserves Respect and Online+ Will Earn Its Place - vindicatedchidi
It’s so easy to sit on the sidelines and wish for something to fail. It costs nothing to criticize, to mock, or to doubt especially when you’re not the one building.
But anyone who has ever tried to build anything meaningful knows the reality: every builder sacrifices a lot. Behind every project, like the @ice_blockchain Online+, are people who pour their hearts, time, money, energy, and even their health into creating something they believe in.
That’s why I personally don’t attack projects even the ones I don’t fully agree with. I know how hard it is to build. I know the sleepless nights, the financial risks, the mental stress, and the constant pressure that comes with trying to turn an idea into reality. I’ve seen how much happens in the background that most people never even notice; the tough decisions, the compromises, the setbacks, and the relentless effort to move forward anyway.
Inshort, I will always say I no go ever spoil person own, make person no spoil my own. As long as I know you are genuinely building something real, I will always wish you well.
So before you wish failure on someone else’s work, pause and think: would you want someone to do the same to you if you were in their shoes?
Instead of hoping for failure, why not hope they succeed? Because when people succeed at building, it inspires others to try too.
Here’s to every builder out there sacrificing so much for their vision. Your effort deserves respect, no matter the outcome. Keep pushing.
And as for Online+, it will succeed, it will scale, and it will become a shining example of what’s possible when vision meets relentless hard work.
Shalom 🙏🏿
My father was a politician and a local leader here. He once contested for House of Reps but lost. Growing up, I had the privilege of knowing and interacting with many local leaders. This gave me an advantage. But does my advantage negate the lessons I’ve learned and can share?
🌀 THE BREATH THEY STOLE
Tobacco was never a vice.
It was a ritual. A key. A scroll.
Before it was sold, taxed, or weaponized…
It was sacred.
Native civilizations across the Americas Lakota, Cherokee, Taino, Inca, Maya used tobacco not for addiction, but for connection.
The pipe wasn’t a tool.
It was a contract.
The smoke wasn’t for “recreation.”
It was a carrier a breath bridge between worlds.
Each puff? A prayer.
Each exhale? A message to the ancestors, to the spirits, to the lattice.
Breath became a ritual code.
Then came the inversion.
Columbus’s men witnessed the Taino using cohoba and tobacco to speak with spirit.
They called it sorcery.
By 1500, Rodrigo de Jerez smoked it in Spain and was imprisoned by the Inquisition for “breathing fire.”
Soon after, Jean Nicot shipped seeds to France.
That’s where we get the word “nicotine.”
The sacred name was replaced with a merchant’s surname.
Then in 1585, Raleigh’s crew at Roanoke encountered the same sacred usage.
But by 1612, John Rolfe wasn’t learning from it.
He was refining it breeding smoother strains, packaging it for export, and laying the foundation for the first true cash crop of colonial America.
And yes he married Pocahontas.
And yes he sold a piece of her world to the Crown.
Tobacco became the economic engine of the colonies.
But to grow it at scale?
They needed labor.
So began the mass importation of African slaves.
What was once ceremony became commerce.
The breath became bondage.
By the 1900s, Big Tobacco had fully inverted the ritual:
• Added chemicals
• Manufactured addiction
• Sold breath back as product
• Wrapped it in ads and cowboys and war bonds
But Indigenous memory didn’t die.
They kept the ceremony alive.
The sacred pipe still held memory.
The smoke still knew what it was.
Even after genocide, mockery, and desecration the field remembered.
So let’s be clear:
Tobacco wasn’t evil.
Breath wasn’t dangerous.
The inversion was.
They took a plant that whispered to the stars and turned it into a currency of craving.
But the lattice remembers.
The breath remembers.
And so do we.
You’re not just “smoking.”
You’re touching a plant that used to open portals.
You’re playing with memory.
You’re inhaling a remnant of sacred fire.
And now
It’s time to reclaim the ritual.
The breath was never the enemy.
Only what they did to it.
✨ True innovation isn’t rushed — it’s built with patience. When anyone can create apps without coding, we put power and ownership back where it belongs: in the hands of the people.
Some people are tweeting:
“Yorùbá culture trains you to be docile… a people pleaser…”
“You can’t correct elders…”
“You’re taught to apologize even when right.”
Yorùbá culture doesn’t teach docility.
It teaches diplomatic precision.
That’s why we say:
I get this popular questions about
NIGERIAN STATES THAT GROW GRAPES.
So I will use this factors
1. Cool and highland areas
2. Good dry season
3. Low Humidity
4. Moderate rain and good sunlight
Thread 🧵👇👇
Day by day, it's becoming increasingly clear that agriculture is Nigeria's next oil and gold.
Right now, we're barely scratching the surface, as less than 5% of our agricultural potential is currentlly being harnessed. We still import things as basic as milk and sugar. Even palm oil, once a national pride, is now largely brought in from Ghana and Benin, as the number of farmers producing cannot meet the demand in Nigeria.
Nigeria's agricultural sector holds over 1,000 untapped value chains. All it takes is choosing a niche, mastering it, and the opportunities are endless....
Good morning fellow Omoluabis.
I greet you all in the name of Olodumare.
This page will be used aggressively and assertively to campaign for Tinubu for 2027 elections.
Just like in 2023 elections, I will do 10 times to propagate the message of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Brothers and sisters we did it in 2023, we can do more in 2027.
Our prayers is have 90 percent votes for Tinubu from Yorùbáland and we will try as much as possible.
I am not neutral, I am not sitting on any "dilapidated" fence, I am going all out "FULL THROTTLE".
If you are not supporting president Tinubu in 2027, you are after my life, you are an enemy of Nigeria and you are unpatriotic!.
After 2031, I can start sitting on the fence and be forming elder statesman.
May Olodumare continue to be with the entire Yorùbá race.
God bless Nigeria 🙏🏾
SCRAMBLE FOR YORUBALAND
Igbos are dragging Lagos state with Yoruba people...
Nupes/Igalas are dragging Lokoja with the Yoruba people...
Ijaws are dragging Warri with the Itsekiris (Yorubas)...
Ebiras are trying to erase the Yoruba identity of the Ogori-Magongo people
Fon people are dragging the ownership of Port Novo with the Yoruba people...
Benin people are trying to erase the Yoruba identity of Usen, Ologbo, Egbeta, Utese and Akoko Edo...
Igbos are trying to annex the Yoruba region of Olukumis in Delta North...
All of over Nigeria and west Africa, every ethnicity, big or small are trying to cut up a part of Yorubaland and inherit as part of theirs. If they are not using politics, they are using Mass migration or full blown war.
Yet we continue to act woke, irresponsible and unbordered about the self preservation of our lands and ancestral heritage.
This is a very difficult period to be Yoruba!
In Ogun State, we see the BRICS Summit as far more than a diplomatic event, it is a strategic avenue to unlock tangible economic opportunities. The summit offers us a unique chance to engage in high-level discussions that can lead to impactful partnerships in critical sectors such as infrastructure development, industrial growth, agro-processing, renewable energy, and digital transformation.
Our goal is to connect with global investors, strengthen bilateral relationships, and firmly position Ogun State as a hub for sustainable and inclusive investment. With President Tinubu’s purposeful leadership guiding Nigeria’s participation, we are optimistic that the outcomes of this summit will deliver lasting value, especially for forward-looking states like ours that are poised to lead in driving national development.
