My dad is still in the hospital. My brother is now as well b/c he fell and broke his leg (needs surgery). - 2022 you have 8 days left please end on a positive note and stop fucking with my family.

@canis_beast with that said. @RunSnepRun and I signed up to run half marathons at Yellowstone and grand Teton next June. But I hear the trails are more like snowmobile trails than the standard trail.

I told dad I am optimistic for his recovery. He says he is dying. I told him to try to get stronger then he can at least know he did what he could. The realist in me doubts he will make it home again. I'm trying to be optimistic and the strength my family needs. #gettingoldsucks

@ThornwolfArt I did and he doesn't see a better quality of life and usually doesn't want to try. He is almost 80 and says 'i'm ready'. Some times he is better. We are trying to give him something to live for.

@ThornwolfArt the problem is we don't know if it is but if he gives up it will be. My job is motivating people to move and it breaks my heart that I have to put on my work face for my own dad.

My dad has been hospitalized for 2 wks in a room w/ no window. He is confused. I flew home to help. Now mom, brother and dad all have mild COVID. I'm literally trying to split my time between sitting with dad so he is less confused and home helping the rest of the family.
