Whichever rules and government red tape that get immediately waived every time there is a natural disaster is probably the biggest indicator that they shouldn’t be there in the first place.
@SeloSlav@hoodrichcapita1@elonmusk Arguing the government doesn’t need to use our tax dollars efficiently is a wild take.
Call me crazy, but you probably shouldn’t blindly trust anyone who keeps a gun to your head with the threat of throwing you in a cage if you don’t give them a portion of your money. Gangsters
@SeloSlav@hoodrichcapita1@elonmusk Then why didn’t they?
Because they can’t.
Outsized risks and skills deserve outsized rewards
Arguing re-distributing money earned to people who didn’t earn or deserve it is a dumb argument.
@IndustrialTexas @alt_w_v_g 😂 well all we do is haul industrial waste. One day we might get to hash out a multiple and our definitions of recurring/re-occurring and my bullshit but well argued and thought out add backs
@IndustrialTexas @alt_w_v_g Best experience I ever got was sitting in the room watching potential buyers back out non recurring revenue/big projects and dissecting the absolute hell out of the P&L
@irentdumpsters@therobertbrooks They absolutely matters, especially early
Get enough good ones (by scaling well, quickly) so the bullshit ones don’t matter would’ve been a better way to word that
@Ry__Rob @jcolesimpson Over $50k I’m considering filing a claim. Anything under not worth
Insurance for trucking company/waste hauler maybe worst thing on planet earth
Only thing worse: insurance for a trucking company, in Alaska. Cause ice
@scatpack103@adamlwingfield You would think. Unless this truck collateralizes a loan. Then he doesn’t have a choice. So he pays the absurd price. Down a unit for at least two months.
Spoiler alert: when he gets it back, it breaks again a week later and leaves him hanging on side of the road
