Woe to those who manipulate religion and the very name of God for their own military, economic, and political gain, dragging that which is sacred into darkness and filth. #ApostolicJourney#Cameroon https://t.co/bKteFZ3iWE
Israeli settlers escalate their incursions into Taybeh, the West Bank’s last fully Christian town, raising concerns over further land appropriation. The parish priest, Father Bashar Fawadleh, appeals for international intervention, as residents face mounting restrictions and call for peace, justice, and protection.

En Cisjordanie, les colons profitent de la guerre en Iran pour semer la terreur
Dix Palestiniens ont été tués depuis le début du conflit en Iran lors d’exactions violentes, sans que le gouvernement israélien ne réagisse.

The last entirely Christian village in the West Bank, Taybeh, east of Ramallah, has been enduring a wave of attacks and intimidation by Israeli settlers. Hostile acts include setting fire to agricultural lands, cars and the walls of an ancient church, hateful and threatening graffiti, livestock released into the village, not to mention the numerous military checkpoints at the entrances to the town. https://t.co/diV6sEPMxW
SAVE PALESTINIAN CHRISTIANS.
Father Bashar Fawadleh, the priest of the Latin parish in the Christian village of Taybeh: "As the priest of Taybeh, I would like to say to Christians around the world that we need your solidarity. Taybeh is not just a village; it is a living sign of the Christian presence in the Holy Land.
Pray for us, but also support us through your actions, your commitment, and your testimony. Help us ensure that the Christians of this land remain a living community, rooted in faith, and not a mere memory of the past."
Christian villages and towns across the West Bank are under constant pressure from Israeli settlers and the Israeli army—facing settler attacks, intimidation of communities, daily raids, land theft, and the expansion of settlements.
16 Christian families have left the Christian village of Taybeh between 2023 and 2025, and others are seriously considering leaving, especially due to growing insecurity after repeated settler attacks and the lack of economic prospects.
Christians in the Holy Land are asking the world not to let their presence become only a memory.

The funeral of Father Pierre El-Rahi, Maronite parish priest of a Christian village, is celebrated today in #Lebanon, as these villages once again experience the tragedy of war. I am close to all the Lebanese people in this time of grave trial. Fr. Pierre was a true shepherd. As soon as he heard that parishioners had been wounded in a bombing, he rushed to help without hesitation. May the Lord grant that the blood he shed become a seed of peace for beloved Lebanon. #PrayTogether
"Vous allez le laisser mourir de soif ?"
J'entends cette phrase depuis 20 ans.
Elle vient de filles aimantes, de fils épuisés, de gens qui font tout pour bien faire.
Elle vient d'un malentendu profond sur ce que ressent vraiment un corps en fin de vie.

Imagine if Ukraine had kidnapped several Hungarian bank employees, seized their money and then used them for extortion to get weapons...
Is Europe just gonna sit by and watch this Hungarian gangster government do this?
Horrific night in the West Bank.
Israeli settlers are carrying out pogroms against Palestinian villages, including the Christian village of Taybeh. They have set fire to Palestinian homes in the village of Abu Falah and are shooting at civilians.
So far, six people have been injured, with reports that three are in critical condition.
The oldest Christian community in the world is at risk of disappearing from the Holy Land as attacks by Israeli settlers intensify.
Israeli settler attacks were frequent even before October 7, but they have intensified dramatically across the West Bank since then, fueled by the Israeli government policies that encourage the expansion of new outposts, issue firearm licenses to settlers, and provide them with rapid access to roads, water, vehicles, and other basic services.
Settlers have also targeted olive groves in the Christian village of Taybeh—the town’s main source of livelihood—while obstructing Palestinian Christian farmers from reaching their land.
Fr. Fawadleh said: “We are under the restrictions of the extremist Israeli government — Smotrich, Ben Gvir, and Netanyahu. They want to establish the Kingdom of Israel. That is their dream.”
Christians in the West Bank are warning the international community, particularly the United States: if there is no real pressure on Israel to stop these attacks, Palestinian Christians will be driven out of their homeland.
